M20 Lynx
The M20 Lynx tank destroyer was an American tank destroyer of World War II heavily based off from M4 Sherman After US entry into World War II and the formation of the Tank Destroyer Force, a suitable vehicle was needed to equip the new battalions. The prototype model had several teething problems which were fixed in later varients, in mid of 1943 nearly 39,000 of these were made and sent to fight in the pacific theater however it did saw minimal combat in the eastern front during the invasion of Berlin. The tank remaind in service for nearly 5 decades with many post war modifications version, some were even equipped with night vision system.
