Devastator: Actually, prior to Midway, the Devestator devastated enemy ships.
Avenger: Avenged the Devastator
Hellcat: Literally fained hellfire on zeros.
FR-1 Fireball: sometimes became a fireball
B-36J: No one wanted to fight it so it technically kept the peace
