The TF-33 Vanguard was designed to replace the Basilisk and Vigilante aircraft and to be more technologically advanced compared to the former aircraft. The Vanguard features a tandem seat configuration and an improved radar to allow the use of off boresight missiles. The Vanguard is also equipped with a Günther and Häwke PB-24 energy actuated machine gun. The Vanguard is a highly effective air supremacy platform.

@AtlasMilitaryIndustries managed to beat it using the terrain, used flares to get behind the mountain, then appeared on the other side of the mountain, aquired lock and got the kill with a single AIM9J Sidewinder.
@marcox43 your best chance at defeating the 84 and 24Xs is using the terrain to your advantage and obscure your line of sight with it.
@marcox43 The AMT-84 and 24Xs are off-bore sight missiles which can be a pain in the neck.
@marcox43 I will admit, I didn't expect the AI to spam the missiles. It seems that it fires the AMT-84s which sometimes depletes the enemy's countermeasures, then it fires the 24Xs and keeps reacquiring the lock until it scores the kill.
this aircraft is giving me a serious headache, even if my aicraft are capable of dodging the first salvo of missiles, such a spam of missiles ends up killing my aircraft... will have to go out of my conventional ways to beat it.

@NuriButOnlyChallengesHere The warhead on your missiles give you an edge in a close quarters dogfight, but because they are semi-active they do lack in long range accuracy. However, your aircraft is undeniably superior in a close range dog fight, good job!
Hey bro, I was trying to upvote your aircraft, but I have to wait apparently. I've got to admit, I ran like, 50 dogfights with mine, and so far I am loving the fights in Mid/Close. Far dogfights are just unfeasible for my aircraft
