AEGIS

This is the first stealth fighter i've ever build and turns out it wasn't really that bad despite lacking in fly by wire systems and fully functional cockpit, it took me a whole two months to finish this entire thing and as you can see i took a lot of inspiration from F-22 and MIG 1.44 and for the roundel it's heavily inspired by osean roundel but much more simpler.

Description

This is very simple aircraft to operate there is no fancy stuff inside this fighter such as funky trees or whatsover because i don't really understand it, there will be some xml modding but only at the surface level and for the performance i would say somewhere between arcadey and realistic so it should be easy to fly with and it can deal some pretty damage in a dogfight.

Weapons Loadout

2x SHORT RANGE AIR TO AIR MISSILE
This missile is custom made so i added a bit of xml modding to make the missiles as maneuverable as possible and plus it looked like a MICA missiles.
6X LONG RANGE AIR TO AIR MISSILE
This is also custom made missile with a little bit of xml modding to make the range longer than before and it's really simple with a stabilizer at the back of the missile.
GATLING GUN
Stock gatling gun with a little bit xml modding for range, bullet velocity, and ect, so it should deal more damage to the enemy plus it's internally build.

Activation Group

AG1 Open/Close Canopy
AG2 Open/Close Landing Gear Door
AG3 Arming Missiles and Open/Close Internal Bay
AG4 Activating Afterburner
AG5 Jettison Fuel Tank
AG8 Turn On/Off Navigation Lights

@Vikram123 i agree, any extra wing bit probably increases the rcs a fair bit, especially from top and bottom perspectives

@Aditiaa just curious, why is the CoL so far below where the aircraft is? It's completely outside of where any wings or even the body should be. Is it a glitch?

Edit: oh, that's why. You didn't even BOTHER giving this aircraft wings! So now I'm left to wonder why. You could've made them completely flat and had them inside of the wing-shaped fuselage pieces.

@SkyJayTheFirst thanks for the insight dude, ngl this is my first stealth fighter so it still has so many flaws that needs to be fixed

@Aditiaa Ok, so a few flaws:
    *
It has way too many drag points and its engine power is far too unrealistic for its own good. That, and its CoL is far outside of the aircraft for some reason.
    *
Other than that, for a silver member, you did amazing here.

@TheCommentaryGuy it appears computers and professional engineers disagree " McDonnell Douglas X-36 " and by that logic let's talk about the ngad program which will develop a jet that replaces the f-22 and should put the f-15 ex out of a job because guess what, the massive tail on a f-22 don't help much with RCS either

@Michiganstatepolice "Canard aircraft can potentially have poor stealth characteristics because they present large angular surfaces that tend to reflect radar signals forwards. The Eurofighter Typhoon uses software control of its canards in order to reduce its effective radar cross section."

@TheCommentaryGuy no, no it wouldn't if this where true so would a tail on a f-22, and especially the f-35, it's about the materials and shape Of the wing

@KmsErikaMaid thats the worst thing about this build aside from the fact that this aircraft has no funky trees in it

Good job, but it's a shame this plane eats up too many parts. This plane could only have 400-600 parts and even then with more features than this

@TheCommentaryGuy I would say it doesn't because it's just stabilizers repositioned, I think people just don't do it. There's a forum post about stealth planes and how canards is stealth

@TheCommentaryGuy sadly it is, but at least it looks cool tho

If this were real, the canards would increase the RCS
