Auto Credit Based on RamboJutter's RJ-English Electric Lightning F9 5.3
Introduction
The MK9 Lightning came about with a change of mind in the UK government in regards to manned fighters and the need to develop existing airframes further. In addition a swing wing was added to the already potent Lightning along with a redesigned undercarriage and tailplane to further increase its operational parameters.
Controls
AG1 = reheat
AG3 = air brake
AG4 = drag chute
AG5 = arrestor hook (not initially designed for carrier ops, more for catching emergency runway wires, dont let that stop you landing on beast though=) )
AG7 = Nav Lights
VTOL up = swing wing forwards and lower flaps
LG = retract gear and doors

@WholeLottaBread lol, yep I did the camo and the rest of the build. Thanks.
If you did the camo i am just concerned about your smartness
@RamboJutter
Well, the proposed F.7 and Sea Lightning are different, with the only similar thing being the Swing wing.
@FeatherWing thanks. Yes and no to your question, I always like the idea if a swing wing lightning but the sea lightning with the side intakes and extended fin was just ugly so I made my own (hopefully prettier) version.
@RamboJutter
This is really good.
Inspired by the proposed F.7 Lightning (Maybe also the proposed Sea Lightning)?
@RamboJutter you're welcome, if you would like feedback or FT help for a build feel free to tag me
@edensk thanks, I will give it a go with those funky trees, I didn't know that was possible (funkytrees are gibberish to me). The fuel was intentional, the lightning was notoriously fuel hungry, I read somewhere that the ventral tank was emptied just after takeoff. I agree with the drag, its mostly on the nose intake, I was worried it was going too quick at altitude hence increased drag, but I see your point about lower drag and power. Thanks again for your comments, it's nice to get feedback to improve in the future.
I flew it today for the first time, and I gotta say, I love how it flies! It's also very good looking and I love the design, you did an awesome job on this plane, favorited.
Unfortunately it has some pretty bad downsides, the drag is way too high, so you made the engines unrealistically powerful, and the fuel consumption is insane, allowing only very short flights.I wouldn't have gone above 2000 drag points if I were you.
Another little improvement you could do on your next builds is to make the afterburner engage at 100% throttle (Throttle = 1), or make it adjustable (inverselerp(0.95,1,Throttle))
You're probably my favorite builder, all your builds look and perform excellently!
@EternalDarkness I have gravatar with johny for 3 years, and in those times he was actor. But now he ends his carreer, and only make blog about sport on youtube, so factically he is youtube blogger
It's like a lightning with Su-17 wings lol
Nice! Great building.
@superTT do you really have to? Does he mean that much to you? It's a gray area at best, and I suggest that you avoid it.
Tigor lightning
Amazing build, got nothing else to say.
@EternalDarkness Shhh... no one noticed:) its actually an su22 inner section of wing but I can't even tell the difference between the 17 and 22 so I will let you off.
I like that tiger “camo” paint scheme!
@EternalDarkness can I ask you a question? As you know (or may be not), now Johny is not an actor in films that not for children, so can I bring it back as a gravatar, because now, I think thats not propoganda of something 18+.
Hey, it's a Su-17 XD
Nice!
Really interesting take on the EE lightning and i love the livery!
