Auto Credit Based on F4f879's Boeing P-26
Hey all! here's my little peashooter (got a small easter egg in the cockpit for you, just behind the stick 😉) after some time of work
Thanks to Kimcotupan15 for the Easter egg idea and TheDepressedPig for helping my build it!
controls are relatively simple-
AG8 locks/unlocks the rear wheel steering
flight in this is very fun, but be careful on takeoff! i tried to make it realistic so it does take a bit of attention to get off the ground
when in the air, optimal trim is 50% down-experiment w/ different throttle and trim settings, it's fun!

I bought a 1:48 scale model of this just the other day! Although it looks sort of unusual in many ways, I think it’s one of the nicest looking fighter aircraft ever made, especially with this sort of paint scheme

Very nice ! I like the "Toy look" of this plane. For xml editing, just download overload mod and play with it, it's very easy to use. Go to this page to see all the possibilities. If you combine it with mods you can do whatever you want and SimplPlanes becomes very interesting...
@ChiChiWerx this was definitely fun to make, but yeah this was way too heavy unfortunately. lack of XML editing makes these things tricky for me and i sort of wanted to get this off my back rather than get someone else to fix that.

Very nice, it also flies nicely. I've often thought about building a Peashooter, as it's actually one of my favorite little planes from that era, but it's miniscule size has often dissuaded me from making one. This is a nice example, though its just a bit larger than the real thing and seems a bit heavy, about 3-4 times heavier than it actually was in real life.
