The Swan

This is a twin engine electric seaplane designed and built by the Solent Aviation company in Norway. It is avaliable fully assembled or as a kit and is designed to be as simple and cheap as possible to assemble and maintain. More Documentation and the Build guide can be found here.

Performance

Full flap stall speed: 60 km/h (33 knots)
Flaps up stall speed: 74 km/h (40 knots)
Max speed: ~340km/h (184 knots)
Takeoff distance: ~90m (results may vary)
Landing Distance: ~20m (these are just guesses tbh)

Parts I "borrowed" from other planes

  • The artificial horizon is from @GuianLorenzo 's LearJet 75
  • The map is from the Scout Kea from my aircraft library, but i realised that none of JamesPLANESii's keas have that map, so I have no Idea where it's from...

VR

I don't have a way of testing if my planes are VR-compatible, but I tried following as many of the curation criteria as I could.

Additional Notes

  • If it flies weirdly on a keyboard, please just say it in the comments, because I use a Logitech flight yoke and like all of by other recent builds it's mostly optimised for a Joystick or mouse yoke.

I'll now go on the hunt for old fuselages in my aircraft library now to make "new" planes out of them

@ThomasRoderick i usually just start building and the outcome could be a cessna or a 747, but i'll try

    @Solent19
First thing first: it's not my first time doing mass-upvoting some random strangers 'ere, nor would it be my last.
Second: please, for the love of all that's sacred and cherished please try to sketch how the plane would look like before you start the construction process - your construction style is good, but your aesthetics is really hit-and-miss.
... and preemptive apologies for nitpicking.
