VTOL and Trim to lay weapon. LandingGear to emplace weapon. Pitch and Roll to steer. The M1770 Scorpio, formally the 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer M1770 Scorpio, is a Paternian light 155mm self-propelled howitzer developed Paternian Defense Industries as part of a requirement for a wheeled indirect 155mm fire platform with lower operational cost than the existing tracked M135 Paladin. The initial project, the M1162 Self-Propelled Howitzer, based on the M1150 Dragoon Modular Wheeled Armored Vehicle, was promising, and was poised for adoption, pending trials. In the meantime, the Paternian Army found itself in need for such a vehicle in the Japan War, and hastily developed the M484 self-propelled howitzer, a 105mm self-propelled howitzer mounted on the back of a Cedco M26 5-ton truck. The success of the sytem prompted the Paterian Army to consider truck-based systems, and M1770 was developed as a result. The M1770 outdid the M1162 in trials; while the latter was better armored and more mobile off-road, the M1770 had better on-road performance and a lower operating cost.

@GermanWarMachine It's not the size of the brake, it's the size of the gun that counts...

    1) Likely. The system was designed for use on trucks of 5-ton capacity.
    2) It's a strictly indirect fire only. Here is how this system puts shells on target.
    3) This will satisfy your desire for MRLS derived from this chassis. @GermanWarMachine

@Pilotmario It words on my iPod fifth GEN but it's quite lage... Also the gun could use a counter mass to dampen the recoil.

That cannon looks WAY to large to be a 155mm
    But, good chassis anyway
