Features: Differential gear drive (with a differential lock), manual clutch single speed transmission, piston engine (jet assisted), double arm suspension, rack steering. Controls: Throttle for engine throttle, VTOL up for clutch engagement, Trim up for differential lock, roll for steering. Enjoy my 2 day project and proof of concept. Optimal clutch engagement is around 90%. If you have any suggestions for this or another build please feel free to comment.

    @Pinata14 It already is, when the wheels and car engines are introduced.
    But it is not, because this is where the “cool” things come from.

    @CDRxavier thank you, feel free to make the necessary improvements and let me see it! With the new updates, this design is basically obsolete and would be better rebuilt instead

    @Pinata14 I love this car.
    However, from my brief experiences, the differential lock can be improved.
    I snapped SPHERES in place of the wheel, so there are more friction. But then different things start to kick-in.
    The differential lock do not look well, and jams a lot of times if one was to actually use it. Differential lock was also nearly useless when cornering and easily breaks.
    The engine works FINE, as piston-engines are not supposed to work in big-torque situations.
    Main reason the piston engine do not work well on this car is because of the differential lock. If it was to start the movement of a car, one would experience a pretty smooth ride all-way long even if the engine ran out of fuel.
    I am up voting it for all the mechanism, but the diff-lock need to be improved. Thanks for the work.

    Thanks for all the comments and upvotes everyone! @Kadin821 I am thinking of making an updated version with fixed steering, a softer spring clutch, a better suspension, and maybe even more pistons to run better without jet assist. If you or anyone would like to see that or any other improvements before you make a car with it then please let me know!

    i struggle to comprehend this... this is why i prefer direct drive electric planes to piston engined cars with complicated gearboxes, clutches, and various other moving bits...

    Complicated, but very interesting. Nice clutch and overall design. However, the steering didn't work that well for me.
