The Falcon is a VTOL aircraft akin to the V-22 Osprey that was manufactured in the 2550s for the UNSC by Misriah Armory. While use cases of this craft dwindled after the Fall of Reach, some older fleets still have many of these crafts in operation.
During the Fall of Reach, there was a spike of popularity as a UNSC protocol deemed "The Winter Contingency" was instated on the outer UNSC colony planet known as Reach. The protocol was designed to ready troops in the event of the Covenant becoming aware of a UNSC colony.

The only thing I don't like it the control scheme, only being Roll as Yaw and pitch without the use of Yaw.
so I added Real roll, yaw and pitch.
and switched the rear guns to Trim.
