Lockheed P-38 Lightning V2.1
4,439 Mathieson
8.2 years ago
Fixed a few small problems. The flaps function much better, the tail can be trimmed and the nose rides higher on the ground. Also, the prop rotation direction was changed. I learned my lesson, don't trust the first source you find on google. Controls have not changed.

Good Job mate! @Mathieson
@Mathieson ok
@JMicah4 That would be cool! To be honest I don't mind anybody doing anything with my planes just as long as they don't claim its their own.
how would you like this in Island of simplicity?
Excellent improvement. I have no complaints outside of very small details. Nothing needs to be changed.
Also, lol at trusting google. When I build replicas, I make sure to find documents made by the designers themselves. With old warplanes, it's pretty easy to find T.O.'s and maintenance handbooks. If they have detailed technical drawings, you can get the accuracy of the size and shape of your replica to within fractions of an inch.
@cobalT that it is!
@BogdanX Thank you! I tried to make the tail as realistic as I could while still maintaing the performance of the aircraft. I found that if I changed the size it drastically impacted the performance of the plane, so I decided to chose performance over perfect scale.
Thanks for your feedback.
@arcues yup.
