Campa Seahawk

7,418 DJkekkeroni  4.1 years ago

The first jet engine powered plane by Campa Inc. It is a fast Seaplane inspired by the Icon A5 and @frame‘s Seaframe. For takeoff: VTOL (flaps) down and full Throttle. When the aircraft reaches a speed of 130 mph, carefully pitch up and... there ya go! Normal flight controls. Have fun! :D

    Looks great, though for what it is I expected it to maneuver better honestly. It feels rather clunky.
    It does land on water very well though, which wasn't that common for seaplanes here.

    Thank you but you don’t have to. Imlazytobuild already made an improved version but you can do it if you want. @HeavyChip

    @DJ2keroni
    I would suggest putting a wing inside the fulesolge and sizeing it down very thin. Then putting a roll input in it. It will improve the roll, and it will not effect the look of the plane in any way. Would you like me to do that?

    Any tips to make it roll better? I know the controls on this are not very well but I don’t know how to improve it @Imlazytobuild @HeavyChip

    Good design but controls are absolute disaster

    The only thing I would suggest is adding more roll.
