Upgraded Ki-5 Kai I
Here's the Ki-5 Kai II, the current peak of the Ki-5 series!
They may look similar on the outside, but look closer and you'll spot a plethora of changes, albeit most being minor.
The Ki-5 Kai II ditches the 7.7mms in favor of the 75mm cannons, which pack a devastating punch if used right. The Kai II can be equipped with the 75mm gunpods iconic to the Ki-5 series, but they aren't included here since the Ki-5 now has built-in 75mms, so adding the gunpods would be an unnecessary addition to weight and drag.
The Ki-5 Kai II can wreak havoc without any gunpods.
The Ki-5 Kai II also has some wheel guards, making it harder to hit the landing gear (at least, if you're above it).
