why do u put the image of the tank instead of the name of the tank
Thats a leopard
Thx took about 2 days but the rest I built ahead of time@noob11
Looks great! @Rapidfire747w
Ur turret was way to laggy for mobile but i used ur gyroscope design and track weels so here have a look https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/RfzZj1/Tank-type-A1@noob11
Yah no problem mate and got ur gyroscope design to work on one of my tanks so thx@noob11
@Rapidfire747w yes, it’s fine. Just please credit me in the description of your post or make it a successor of this one.
Ok is it ok if I do it myself then? Well if I can lol cuz I’ll use another pc then repost when I’m done@noob11
@DragonAerotech Actually I’m not a returned player. This is probably my 4th tank or so, and one of the few I’ve put effort into building.
@Rapidfire747w I was planning on making another AFV with a lower part count for mobile users, and also because I have an awful computer. Unfortunately, I just haven’t had the time to start on it yet, plus I normally build slowly.
Hey can you try to make one of these as mobile friendly as possible or if not the turret at least? Plz I saw ur gyro placement btw I’ve tried it but haven’t gotten it 2 work @noob11
@noob11 Great! Thanks! Yeah, tanks easily wind up at too high of power on SP. One of my "light tanks" (Okay - armored car since now you folks have come up with realistic treads!) - had two engines one for ordinary use and one for an emergency power boost for climbing steep inclines. I used to test my vehicle designs by taking them from one airstrip to the other via the mountain paths and the bridges. To me that was proof it could handle rough terrain operations. ^_~
My solution to the turret operation was VTOL and Trim without stabilization but that was also before they added the Gyroscope. Still I LOVE all the detail you put into this design AND didn't bump up its size to allow for all that added detail. Typically tank designs are built with the intent of being able to fit on your' average single lane dirt road and I think you captured that design element in this machine.
Did you try that giant that @SUKHOI built? Good grief, that thing's a cheat isn't it?! I was ramping hills at 80+ mph without damage to the chassis and managed to sink Tiny, Beast and BOTH destroyers with it's Cleaver missiles. LOL Thus far it's the only land based vehicle I've tried that has managed to kill all four ships. lol I did manage with a few aircraft previously, a patrol boat someone made with a cheat where the canopy is below the waterline and so the destroyers do not detect it as a threat and then one ship I designed but I only managed that by sheer dumb luck since the regular guns don't stop being operable even after your' canopy is knocked away.)
I've JUST returned to the game after being away for some time due to my graphics card crapping out on me. I'm not capable of amazing work like this above though. I'm guessing you are a returned player? I'd just like to know how to appropriately sheath aircraft wings and I'd be happy! lol
@DragonAerotech Thank you! I purposely lowered the engine power as the tank previously had a high power to weight ratio and would fly off of small slopes. Also, I’m fairly new to gyros, and my stabilizer design is not the best, so the turret would just go limp if the gyro was turned off. Anyways, I wouldn’t mind if you used the chassis for anything as long as you credited me in the description.
@noob11 This is probably the best and most convincing tank chassis I've seen yet! Excellent build and puts any of my previous AFVs to shame! lol She's a little underpowered for muscling her way through uneven terrain and I might recommend a control group to turn off the gyroscope as I often found myself fighting with it while maneuvering. lol Would you mind terribly if I adopted this chassis for future projects?!
@SUKHOI Yes, this tank is mainly based off of the Leopard 2A5. Nice tank btw!
I think we both built ours largely based on the Leopard
Seems I found some Comrade ^_^ check this out

@Baldeagle086 OO

This is very impressive @noob11. Great job
Is this tank meant to be based off anything?, because it looks very similar to a leopard 2
Good, job. Love the tank.
this is probably the best tank or thing ever made in simple planes! keep doing these and i will adore your holy advice!
@noob11 no problemo :)
Thanks! @grizzlitn. @JangoTheMango
Good job
All the time @OrangeConnor
Thanks @ErvenDynamics
