Auto Credit Based on bskngshrk's 1940s AIRCRAFT CHALLENGE [CLOSED, WINNERS ANNOUNCED ON FORUM]
Carrier born fighter made to fill the roles of any other fighter, but better. Armed with 4x 30mm cannons each with 200 rounds each meant that stronger engines were required if it were to best a fighter in terms of speed. Single props were not cutting it and examples were made with British fighter prototypes with dual prop engines. Production was pushed and dual prop engines were quickly mounted on all Wardwind prototypes, giving the Wardwind one of its edges in battle, speed.
