Description

The responsible of this quarantine, SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. It appeared on December,2019, in China, and spreaded very quickly around the globe.

This piece of microscopic garbage, in spite of his lack of conciousness, has infected several countries and killed many people. The only way to defeat it or at least, reduce its lethal power, is staying at home and only going out for actual needs.

Fortunately, scientists are finding an effective vaccine and even a cure for this virus. Until that, we must take care of the rest of the world, being responsible and aware of the dangers of this new disease.

Humanity has gone trough both world wars, the flu of 1918, other dangerous diseases, natural disasters... And here we are! Together, we can overcome this issue, and even learn from it in order to prevent future pandemics and harmful illnesses.

The virus has the characteristic form of a corona, that gives it the name. This is due to the protein prolongations around it, that serve it as hooks to attach to a cell and infect it. When it is attached, it mixes its mebrane with the cell, and introduces its ARN sequence on it. It takes advantage of the own cell, using the internal processes to make more copies of itself, and, when the cell is completely full of virus, it explodes, releasing the copies to the rest of the cells, infecting them and making this process until several areas of the body are completely infected.

In order to prevent being infected, wash your hands as much as you can, because the mix of water and soap destroys the fat membrane of the virus, making it harmless and useless. Search information only in official sites of the government of your country, and don't listen to fake news, because this virus resists more than warm water.
