@StockPlanesRemastered I don't think there's anything explicitly in the rules, but I do think there should be something. I've been seeing an influx in these types of posts lately. Links in bio or posts that aren't outright advertising should be allowed ofc

suggesting under 32 gigs in 2025 for anything that costs more than a few hundred dollars is not a good idea. An i5 is a model name they've been using for 30 years and some are god awful, suggesting one without clarifying a specific model is pointless.

Electronica is great for when I just want to chill and focus. Usually I’m not a huge fan of all the beeps and boops and pure synth music like you’d typically associate with electronic music, I like stuff that’s a little more organic like Four Tet or Bonobo. I also like some weirder music, like Burial or older DJ Shadow. People who like Minecraft music can probably appreciate a lot of this stuff (Aphex Twin also has some chill bangers)
If you like hip hop A Tribe Called Quest is amazing for this because it’s chill but it’s still fun to listen and sing along to
@ComradeSandman it's not going to be easy, I already have the trained model but actually implementing it into an android app is going to be a royal pain.
@11qazxc yeah it's gonna be a painful process for sure, I'm just gonna fudge it to be perfectly honest. A couple planes (geometrical planes) and then another label that renders a crappy picture of the tutorial plane. Maybe some kind of dragging the pieces together as well. Obviously not much physics integration or anything but I do think it's doable.

@V you can only root certain models, this one is not capable of that for some reason. I did use Fire Toolbox to try and debloat it a little bit, I got rid of the lock screen ads and added Aurora Store so I can get any android app that's on the Play Store without signing in. The terminal is an app called Termux that apparently can interact with the device the same way a typical Linux terminal would (Fire OS= custom android = extremely custom Linux kernel). Right now I'm trying to use it for computer vision to try and make a drowning detection system for my local pool.

For example. Otherwise it’s just a link to a webpage and not an embed of a file.
@BeastHunter nah I'm using w3m, supposedly it's a lot faster and the interface is just arrow keys/tab key and enter in place of using your mouse.
Stuff like lynx might be able to actually leave comments and upvotes though, I might have to try it
@PlaneFlightX yeah it's fun to mess around with, it's pointless to use terminal for browsing when you can literally alt-tab into a browser but I kind of enjoy finding obscure ways of doing normal things and their limitations.
I'm hoping to be able to create YouTube content for the game (once the nda expires of course). Would be an awesome way to help build hype (plus it would be super fun)
Yeah that link that @Nyamomin gave should be up to date and have the basic information you need to get started. One big tip I have is to use prefabricated stuff, for instance the building on my photography map was a free pre textured 3D model.
@CKKI I’ve never ridden in it, but it is super cool. Here’s a picture of it in action, just for reference this is my uncle driving it about 30 years ago and my grandpa still takes it out on the trails every once in a while. I think this is a film photo as well, which is kinda sick.
@SupremeDorian oh dear. Sounds like a hideous burden. Fortunately I will help so that you aren’t so miserable. I know it’s going to suck, but I feel it is my duty to play the game to help with the grueling process of making sure it’s fun.
