Looks like an FW-190, but with a taste of modern tech, like if we never evolved from prop engines, and rather than creating jet engines, we just got really damn good with props
Welcome to SimplePlanes, Zilyboy. You asked for criticism, but you didn’t specify what to criticize, so I’ll give a brief overview of the entire craft, in sections of course. Keep in mind this is all coming from an experienced platinum user, so just take what I say as helpful advice.
The parachute position is a little awkward to use, as the plane immediately faces upwards upon using them. They’re also too small for any effective speed reduction, which kinda defeats the point of the parachute. Increasing the size of the parachutes, and putting them closer to the CoM, or Center Of Mass, definitely helps with stabilizing the aircraft while parachute(s) are deployed.
The fighter’s design is pretty unique looking, but I recommend that you make your own aircraft(s), right from scratch. It’s more reputable, oftentimes more fun, and it’s a great way to express your creativity on the website, and in game of course.
The Gyroscope placed on top of the aircraft is slightly weird, and it’s purpose is never mentioned in the description, if it even has a purpose in the first place. It doesn’t even seem to have much effect on the aircraft either, which is odd, but most likely not your own doing. Unless you’re creating a VTOL aircraft, a helicopter of some sort, or you just want an Activation Group Button that turns on autopilot, rather than using the in-game autopilot, Gyros aren’t typically necessary on a build.
The “Rocket Missiles” as you call them are certainly powerful, but they tend to clip through terrain at high speeds. Again, not your fault. That’s just SimplePlanes being dumb. However, these custom weapons aren’t really the best in terms of craftsmanship; they obviously show some level of work ethic, but they lack in this category as well. There’s a tutorial in the forums under “Useful Links” on how to make custom weapons I believe, along with tons of other very helpful stuff. Or alternatively, you could just use the in-game bombs for something more simple.
That’s all I have to say, other than that, you seem like a user with potential. I take it that you have a basic knowledge on how Overload works, seeing that those engines are not default. Additionally, Overload can be used for countless things in game, and if you master it, you can really create some incredible stuff, just by utilizing the game’s malleable coding.
Yeah idk I kinda just came up with this randomly after watching a video of some guy putting fireworks under ice and exploding them, idk how I got this as a result of watching that though lol
@KnightOfRen I mean...
It’s not bad, it’s definitely better than some of your older creations, but I’ll admit it does seem to have more attention than one would imagine. Idk, I won’t elaborate further.
@hjonk abbreviation for a user here named KnightOfRen. They kinda abused the upvote system to get to platinum rank incredibly fast, by having all of their friends irl, on social media, or other means of communication, upvote their creations. Meaning they could make a shite plane in less than 20 minutes, but each shoddily done craft of theirs would score like 30 upvotes, regardless of the build quality. This ended up causing a helluva lot of drama, much of it the entire SP Community regrets, and I can’t imagine KoR doesn’t regret it either. Since then, he has since improved both his morals and his build quality, and typically gets a more realistic amount of upvotes on his posts.
This looks awesome so far! I hate to say this, considering how much you’ve probably improved since your last FW-190, but the livery on the old FW-190 looks kinda better than the one on your new FW-190. Idk, that might just be my preference, which of course ultimately doesn’t matter.
I remember seeing this one in a documentary! There’s so many of these one-in-a-million encounters that absolutely amaze me, and god damn it if I never get to experience something like it in my life...
@CaptainDima first of all, I’m already in this server. Second of all, I advise you don’t shamelessly advertise without any rhyme or reason, doesn’t look good.
@AN2Felllla hehe yeah, explains the Black Triangle UFO sightings. It was all most likely the TR-3B being piloted by an idiot who forgot to cloak the damn thing before testing lol
Now all we need is one that can protect from 360° in a spherical shape! Would be perfect for futuristic fighters, Sci-fi vehicles, or perhaps a replica of the Arsenal Bird from AC7.
@Clutch funny thing is, I actually did this. There was a flood that hit my house, and a railing from some other house washed up in our lawn. Since then, I’ve been finding nails, and fixing them to the end of the railing with heaps of wood glue, creating a sort of brutal mad-max melee weapon
@idk201011323 sorta yeah. I wanted the name of PyrhPan to be a combination of some of the locations in my favorite fandoms, but there were a couple issues with that; almost every name of a location in Crossout would realistically, be a crazy Russian-to-English translation. Additionally, there aren’t many names that really work for a military force in RainWorld, and the location names in AceCombat and SimplePlanes are already used a lot from what I’ve seen. So I resorted to the next best thing, and it’s kinda original as well. Think of it as an ultra-powerful branch of the Fandomverse’s military, to simplify it.
@AllAmericanB17 I think it’s supposed to be a sad face Unicode; B kinda looks like a pair of eyes, and the parentheses “(“ looks like a frown. Combined, they make a sad face, perhaps as to indicate sympathy and/or empathy in this context. As for your dog, I hope they feel better, good luck to them.

+1@AuroraPolaris yeah, but compared to modern Anti-Ship Missiles, they’re obsolete.
@Haloispog that’s very nice looking, I may consider
Unmotivated, out of ideas.

@Aweyer26 ah ok, gtk.
That looks absolutely gorgeous.
+1@ZilyBoy AN-36 sounds like a good name for an aircraft produced by Antonov, as their aircrafts use the AN abbreviation for Antonov.
@DrexxVolv always has been.
+1Beautiful SU-57 Felon that Guyfolk made
+2Your videos are so damn good, wonderful editing as well!
+4Very fun to fly! Is there any way to make it’s top speed any faster, and/or the acceleration any faster?

You can’t upvote pinned comments...
@CoolPeach ah ok, you’re making the same livery on the new one?
Start a firestorm of drama that tears apart the very life force of this community. You’ll get a reputation for sure, just not a good one
Actually really useful, great info!
