@WarshipDude yes, even if in SP wheels do not generate any gyroscopic stabilization, the steering assembly (front fork, wheel and suspension) has a limited rotation of 30°, but it's free to move in its range. Resulting in a speed and roll angle relative steering input.
Thanks to everyone who upvotes and spotlights, I really just want as many people to see how I made this bike, so that everyone can make a realistic handling bike, so feel free to modify and experiment with it!
@theeunknown unfortunately no one can upload screenshots as thumbnails at the moment on android, as they removed mod support and the ingame blueprints disappears as you open the share dialog.
@senalPelpmiS @theeunknown thank you both for the upvote, and I'm extremely grateful for the spotlight, hopefully it will give my work some visibility :D
@Mage2IsTriggered yeah, I just wanted to replicate a real pushrod suspension, but it gave me way too much troubles building it, and it also limited the nose design which is why it looks bad compared to the rest of the car
@Mage2IsTriggered I really need to ask you a question, do you have any idea about how to make the front suspension less flexible?(look inside the nose or use the cockpit camera) The entire suspension flexes in a way it shouldn't
@WarshipDude yeah, my f1 car is also a 2021 concept (now 2022 due to postponed regulation change) i tried to replicate the desing but if we had ground effect, it would have been way better
@Spikerya if you want a realistic F1 suspension, check out my F1 Fictional Concept Polossi RT, the FRONT suspension is a multilink pushrod, just like real F1s! Feel free to use and modify it!
@XP lmao sorry, I build and play on mobile
Thanks to everyone for the upvotes/spotlights!
@PapaKernels thank you! And that's where the 8 in the plane's name comes from, 8 cilinders!
+1@VF31J I modified this plane making it more realistic, and it now looks like a g2 trop, can I post it? With credit of course
@Okay67M8 oh sorry, my bad
@Okay67M8 @Okay67M8

@DafaARK hope you found what you were looking for
@Noobybits123567 thank you very much :D

@ReignSUPREME By the way, can it S🅱️IN?
+2@ReignSUPREME awesome work, did you give up on developing a pushrod suspension too? Simpleplanes has some flexibility problems over joints.
@WarshipDude oh no hans, transmission broke...
@recycledcake255 awesome! I think it's a great bike for road use, both comfortable and fast at the same time
@theeunknown I can at least put images in description, just like in the bike I posted a few minutes ago.
+1@theeunknown unfortunately no one can upload screenshots as thumbnails at the moment on android, as they removed mod support and the ingame blueprints disappears as you open the share dialog.
And thank you all for upvoting and spotlighting. :D
@theeunknown oooh this is going to help me a lot! Thank you very much!
@theeunknown thank you very much, I think it's because I have few points, followers, and I don't know how to make those nice thumbnails lol
+1@senalPelpmiS @theeunknown thank you both for the upvote, and I'm extremely grateful for the spotlight, hopefully it will give my work some visibility :D
+2@An2k thank you!
@Mage2IsTriggered I'm going to post an improved version of this F1 soon btw
@Mage2IsTriggered yeah, I just wanted to replicate a real pushrod suspension, but it gave me way too much troubles building it, and it also limited the nose design which is why it looks bad compared to the rest of the car
@Mage2IsTriggered I really need to ask you a question, do you have any idea about how to make the front suspension less flexible?(look inside the nose or use the cockpit camera) The entire suspension flexes in a way it shouldn't
@Mage2IsTriggered thank you
@WarshipDude yeah, and less drag too
@Mage2IsTriggered awesome! Thank you
@WarshipDude yeah, my f1 car is also a 2021 concept (now 2022 due to postponed regulation change) i tried to replicate the desing but if we had ground effect, it would have been way better
@Mage2IsTriggered https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/91j14f/2021-F1-Fictional-Concept-Polossi-RT
@Mage2IsTriggered this level*
@Mage2IsTriggered gonna try, the f1 car is already posted but it's not a successor of this game
@Mage2IsTriggered I had some problems uploading, I should be able to upload it tomorrow
@Mage2IsTriggered hi I already made a f1 car for a different challenge, can I reuse it?
It fits the rules
@Sm10684 Nice
Thank you for second place @Sm10684 !
The motogp challange sounds like a good Idea, can I reuse old bikes? I made plenty of them
Btw if you need some bike suspensions, feel free to use these I made for my Monster 1200R https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/PN0aoP/Ducati-Monster-1200R
Nooo you can't just give your bike more cylinders!
Ahahahaha V8 bike goes BRRRRR
@Sm10684 don't worry
@Sm10684 oh, if I knew that before I would have added some details, btw it doesn't matter
@Sm10684 soo, did the challenge end?
@Spikerya I really wish ground effect was present here in simple planes :(
+1@Spikerya if you want a realistic F1 suspension, check out my F1 Fictional Concept Polossi RT, the FRONT suspension is a multilink pushrod, just like real F1s! Feel free to use and modify it!
+1@Sm10684 thank you, also thanks for the upvote :D
+1@Sm10684 Done, please do not judge it from the screenshots, I need to learn how to put better looking images as thumbnails
@Sm10684 ended up quite good, I'll post it right now
@tylerdeveneuxmusic do not understimate yourself man, you've built the lancia delta, here in italy it's considered a god like car XD
+1@Sm10684 I'm gonna try to improve it, hopefully, in a day.
@Sm10684 no, my fault, I already made a go kart prototype with ackermann steering, but it doesn't work well and it is slow and heavy
Thank you @tylerdeveneuxmusic ironically, this is the second airplane I ever made in simpleplanes in almost 4 years XD
+1
