@EternalDarkness Yeah, I realized as a flash that it should be perfect in this project that was based on T1000. It only need a 2x2x2 scale

@SSSvaSSa I think it can reach more users than as forum post. (and who want can save the engine as sub-assembly)

@Carbonfox1 Thanks mate. I have keep the part count low for mobile users and potato computers users avoiding the internal part of cockpit. :)

@Isaac2004 At present I'm working at the "ultimate" version of my SPAD VII, so I'm not planning to rework this in a short future, but if you want ride a jet sustained low parts no mods creation, try this:

    @LiamW :) I'm happy you like it.

  • _Mechanical_Instrumentation 6.8 years ago

This mod is awesome, but if I can give a suggestion, some engine parameter can be interesting if added, especially for propellers one. Like the prop pitch, the eventual overspeed and similar. Better if divided engine by engine (like the wheels for the cars engine... "assign engine")

  • Two mods test 6.8 years ago

@Gestour thanks for those mod, men. They are fantastic, and I will use both in a very complicated replica project I just started, where pilot and instrumentation are exposed to open air in the original one, so I need them visible in the model.

  • Space: 1999 - War Eagle 6.8 years ago

@atgxtg You can cut orizontal thrust, then give some brutal pitch up using the vertical jets as brakes. It's the same thing that helicopters does (and is how I brake with this).

  • What do you think about me now? 6.8 years ago

As @AviownCorp says, if someone do not want attention, judgements, hints (and upvotes) simply keep his planes in his device. (I did it for a while). I'm the first that wait for upvotes and comments on my creations, and sometime I feel myself a bit ignored. But, c'mon, it's only a game. If the community does not upvote my planes, surely I don't kill myself.

    BTW, I just posted a... oops, :)

@atgxtg Mmmm.... this is a nice idea. I keep it for the next version. Thanks

  • Space: 1999 - War Eagle 6.8 years ago

@atgxtg If you give enought thrust on main engines, and give some degrees nose up, you fly like a missile flies, for sure. :) But if you try to fly slowly, like 10% thrust... you cant avoid the vertical lifter.

@WNP78 I can understand your point, but this is the off topic specific section of forum, "not relevant for simpleplanes"... I think it can be ok, but lets leave the words to the mods. :) We arent, is not our job to moderate or approve.

  • SPACE: 1999 - Eagle Transporter 6.8 years ago

@ChiChiWerx Yes, cargo pod do not change COM (it has a total mass of 0) but change the drag. Whitout it the drag and the thrust forward are no longer alligned, and a overthrow torque born. This problem is more visible if the speed is high. If you keep the main engine at 25% is barely noticeable.

The phisic engine of this game is awesome, a simplest one will not have those "problems" (but I love to deal with them)

  • SPACE: 1999 - Eagle Transporter 6.8 years ago

@ChiChiWerx Just made a quick test, yes, no mistery. Without vertical thrust it does not flies, unless you are a 100% orizontal thrust and balance the nose up like a missile. But it's instable and hard to keep at stable altitude. Try to go 30% speed, and cut vertical thrust... and enjoy your rock like fall. :D

BTW it float with no floating blocks or bouyance in any part. ;) Miracles of mass remover.

  • SPACE: 1999 - Eagle Transporter 6.8 years ago

@ChiChiWerx If you have some degree nose up position, the vertical vector is enough, because many, many pieces are at 0 mass. But usually if you cut the vertical thrust you can see after some second the altitude start to drop

  • Interceptor Ver2.0 6.8 years ago
