@Stingray AndrewGarrison is working hard on SimpleRokets 2 (and I cant wait for buy it), so probably he has few times for simpleplanes. I hope after the relase of SR2 (I think this summer) SP return under Andrew attention and love.
@Stingray A lot of models (all the ones done on windosw for sure) have collision disabled. It's enough for both. You must hope that there is no "ios vs ios". :(
The planes flies, and the pod work, but there is no air to ground weapons, requided for the challenge. Ad at least a missile pod, or a bomb - and be sure that adding weapons the plane still fly and manuver, the weapons are heavy ;-) - then reupload this. Without weapons, invalid entry.
I suggest to give a little bit of love to some dettails and to the paintjob.
I want to tanks all the guys (or maybe some girls, who know?) that enter the contest untill now. There is plenty time for enter (until august 12th 2018, near two months), so tell to your friend of this contest. Upvote it for made it more visible, put it in the jet stream for show it to your follower. More entered plane, more glory for the final winner!
Everything is working as requested for the challenge. Valid entry.
The plane is very nice, you can be proud of this. :) And I hope this experience can be usefull for you in the next creation projects. I cant wait for the final judgement, a lot of beautifull planes are in the contest.
OK, I can save your life. :P I fixed your plane, but for be fair, you must do a fixed version by yourself (or it's unfair for others). The fix is relatively simple.
1) Load my escape pod module, and remove cockpit from it (it's in the tiny and pointed metal part in front of the glass)
2) Save my pod as sub assembly
3) Load your plane, and move the cockpit away from the pod (like on the tail, IE)
4) delete all the front piece of your plane
5) Attach my module from sub assembly to your plane
6) Move cockpit again in the same position
7 made the pointy nose of your plane again (two pieces)
I did it in about 5 minutes, so you are not lost forever. Do it and post it again.
@MikoJake when you have this problem, "undo" untill you roll back a working version. And, of course, when you have a working version, save it with a number. You will delete all them only at the end of the work. :) IDK if you can save your version now, but these are important steps working on complex built with moving or launcing parts.
@DerpyCookie17 In the original parts this is not, you probably resized or changed some parts welding all togeter. It one of the challenge mantain the pod working exactly as given
@DerpyCookie17 You have plenty time, do not worry. Test your plane at your better, maybe tomorrow, and maybe you will see something to improve. :D it's not a race for the first relase. :)
Valid entry. I hope I will not made mistakes chosing the plane on august judgement. Can you simply rename this plane (do not need to reupload) as "final"? Thanks
I think the present evolution of my entry is the final point of this design. If I want to improve I can't refine it, but I must return to the drawing board.
The only interesting thing is that my time appear already competitive. ;-)
CoM and CoL are too close (basically coincident) and the plane is unflyable. Without the bombs it's a little better, Judge yourself if relase a new one (if successor of mine is better) or leave this one in.
I published a plane as public for mistake, I hope there are no "insipired" planes, because it has good chanche to be the winner. I removed it, but not first there is 3 download.
The pod work, and the plane flies, but the rear of the given parts is modified. This will count as "minus" in the judgment. BTW, thans for the time you spent for this entry in my little challenge.
The pod work, and the plane flies, so the entry is valid. Take off is really triky. Extensive tests at the end of the challenge. Thanks for your entry. :)
@randomusername nope, I chosed a selection of high-end parts compatible each other, ordered them and assembled all the parts by myself. Sadly the SSD HD is dead, and now I have "only" a TB for windows and a 2TB for the data, but convetional disks. Fast, but not fast as a SSD one.
@randomusername I buy all the parts on purpose, but not retail but wholesale. Even the motherboard is high-end, the cooling is liquid, the power supply is high-end ...
@Stingray Devs must pay the bills too. :)
@RyneKuczy Real plane F-111 did :D It inspired me in few concepts.
@Botfinder LOL, thanks, I completely missed it! :D
@Awsomur Done, it work perfectly. Thanks.
+1@Awsomur Thanks mate, I will try it now. :)

@Giggitymerf Software limit is 760 mph. This is a sort of fake sound barrier, and is not tied to altitude.
Shaved some other cents of second. :) I think i will be competitive at high level.
After i fired the P08, The second dream left is firing a C96. :D

The plane flies, and the pod work perfectly. A sleek and nice plane with some resemble on B-70. Valid entry.
There is a bomb unwelded somewere, that fall at take off. Thanks for your time doing this entry. :D
@MikoJake You are welcome, my friend.

The plane is beautifull, but the pod does not work. Invalid entry, but belive me, I like this work.
@MikoJake Don't surrender. Use te experience to work on a better version from an empty draw table.
The pod work perfectly and the plane flies and bomb (bomb the whole world, if the pilot want xD)
Valid entry
@DerpyCookie17 There are lot builder better than me :) But thanks.
Done.

@DerpyCookie17 Is not late, challenge will be open until August 12th

Inspired by F-22 but without vectoring?
BTW good job, upvoted. I like it.
@Nerfenthusiast https://www.youtube.com/c/taprackbang
Is not a videogame channel, it is a survival/outdoor/zombie channel italian language.
I will test this asap

@Zkillerwolfe After the first contender pass the first ring the time start for both. A nice vertical acceleration is the key
Very minor changes from my original.
It flies, and the pod works fine. Valid entry. The rudder is inverted.
Thanks for the time you spent for my little challenge.
@CrazyInventor What is your realistic target time?
I published a plane as public for mistake, I hope there are no "insipired" planes, because it has good chanche to be the winner. I removed it, but not first there is 3 download.
Pod is working, and the plane flies. Valid entry.
@pilotred233 nope, the challenge is based on using the given parts (in this post)
@Mong63 Save one as sub assembly, and freely ise it.
The pod work, and the plane flies, but the rear of the given parts is modified. This will count as "minus" in the judgment. BTW, thans for the time you spent for this entry in my little challenge.

It'weird, but my plane on "enemy" side do 3 seconds better than in "player" side. Someone have the same issue?
+1@BaconAircraft I hope we cant.
The SSD was a small disk (250 gb) where there was only windows, it was quick and a lot of operations was like a bullet.
Anyway, I use my PC also for edit my youtube videos, (I have a youtube channel), for 3D design, photoediting and - of course - to play videogames.

Can someone tell me a good target time?
I think I have a good plane. :) But also there is plenty time to improve.

It flies perfectly. GJ.
One note, there is no jets. It have only old props engine (discontinued in the game)
