@Ye4567 That doesn't affect performance. There's 7 engines in the plane either to give it sound, cruise, or for afterburner. I guarantee one of them isn't getting air which would probably be the ones for sound
@Wolfgang8261YT What you can do is have two different engines. Set the VTOL engine to Throttle>.95. Then take a separate engine ,like the J50 for example, and use that for anything below the afterburner
What I found is that if you take a cockpit out of a plane with working huds and such, take that cockpit and save it as it's own aircraft and take your project and save that as an assembly. Then join the cockpit and assembly as one and you should have working displays. Hopefully this helps@ajanie06
It is mobile friendly. I built this and my other aircraft on my phone. VR just means the seating position, buttons, levers, and controls are immersive in VR, it doesn't take away from the mobile functionality @Deepdark
I love this airframe so much. I was airframes in the Marines on Ospreys but got the opportunity to work on the H-60 for a few years in Quantico. Sometimes PAX River would send an MH-60R for a parts run and I loved watching it from the hangar @DrunkDalek09
Update** the death spiral was due to fuel in the sponsons so the CoG was off. Defueled the sponsons and put fuel in the wings and top of the aircraft and now she flies better than she used too
@Minpilot when you land you gotta make sure the blades are back in the up position. It's supposed to land like a helicopter.
@Ye4567 There's a switch in the left of the cockpit under the red switch marked APU. Flip that on and you'll be flying in no time

@Ye4567 what do you mean?
+1@Wolfgang8261YT I never made anything that acts like G force, so I wouldn't know how to help

Simple Turismo
+1Great build dude! Keeping the part count low and keeping the detail high isn't easy.
+2Parts not being placed in the right area is relatable 🫠
+2@Thiagodark there is a button to start the engines in the cockpit on the left side.
@TheCommentaryGuy how did you get the funnel to activate?
@Khanhlam Well, for an AI opponent, it doesn't do 30+ G's at full burner. Which is great in VR. At 200-300mph it outmaneuvers some of my planes
+1This makes a great dogfight opponent. Not aggressively fast or annoyingly slow.
+3@Haytham115 Go to the profile and click on posts. There should be a drop down tab that says "public". Click it and change it to unlisted
@Smeagleandpiss2 there are two buttons for the Nav settings. On one of the screens it shows the airport code and direction for the one selected
@Smeagleandpiss2 What kind of tutorial?
You can scale up the plane too if needed.
+1They only swivel in VR if that's what you mean @Keth
+1Thanks @Bellcat. I didn't even realize I published it. I'm still tweaking some things for VR
@WAR122
I never realized until you said that @teddyone02

Complicated how? Like making displays with funky trees or getting copied ones to work?@ajanie06
What do you need help with in the display?

+1@AndrewGarrison
I'm still working out the bugs and controls lol. This is the fourth revision, but the final one will get instructions. @AndrewGarrison
Since I don't have VR, how does everything look and feel? Is everything within reach?@WNP78
@Rsouissi
@Rsouissi Nothing in the works for 1.11 yet, but I have a Sea King ready for download with no detailed cockpit
+2@WAR122 yup. I just have to add a couple more things for the 1.11 version
+1By all means. I'm updating a bunch of my aircraft for the 1.11 update @SinpleGamer12211445
@Soardivision160th With the XML editor go to the RotorPerfScalars tab and go down to RotorTensor. 10 or 15 is close enough to a realistic start up
@Defalt1 Here ya go https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/40M674/MD-500-Attack-Helicopter
+1The only mods are the fine tuner and overload which works on mobile @Dameeee
Who’s Andrew? @LucasNicky
What could i hep you with? @Rsouissi
No rules broken here. I’ve been working on this on and off since May @Nickr
Note** VTOL and throttle are swapped
Position light are activated using Group 1
Update** the death spiral was due to fuel in the sponsons so the CoG was off. Defueled the sponsons and put fuel in the wings and top of the aircraft and now she flies better than she used too
Note** it also loses lift when in airplane mode
