Oh yes! Castle Air Museum has a B-36, I took a tour in it a few years ago. They also have a Avro Vulcan. It’s quite a ways away from Chino though @ACEPILOT109
Well a lot of people have no idea what it is lol. That’s so cool that you know! Considering we have one of the rarest collections of W’s birds in the world I thought more people would know what it is @EuroFox4
Yeah it’s in Chino California, I’m there every first Saturday, well I was anyway. Until the museum fully opens again, I can’t go unless I’m given permission :( @ACEPILOT109
Hi. I’m Blackhatt, I’m a AvGeek and I volunteer at an Air Museum called Planes of Fame. I’m not very good at building (so you probably shouldn’t ask me for advice) and I’m not to active anymore. Welcome aboard!
Yeah, The Hispano really close, the P-59 still needs quite a bit of work, but its close, probably a few years away from flight. The Val and O-47 still need a TON of work though. @ACEPILOT109
@ACEPILOT109 @YourWife the P-59 was the US’s first fighter jet, it was mass produced, but it was built in some numbers, but the P-80 was the first mass produced and used fighter
Cool! I hope I get to see a Catalina some day! I’ve been fortunate to see a B-24 (most definitely the same one as you) fly over my house a few times. @Cobrahuey Also nice OV-1 picture, the air museum I work is restoring one to flight!
What Mic do you use? @ACEPILOT109
