@KingDeadshot good idea with the weight! Usually bigger planes have more countermeasures (C130-gunship) and fighters have less!
Armor? There has never really been an armored plane though, not as in the way normal ground vehicles are armored, although armor would be nice for ground vehicles
@KingDeadshot the thing with bombing recticles is that they were made for dumb bombs, and i agree with your idea for a special recticle and a new "smart bomb" but what if we could choose between a placeable recticle for dumb bombs or one for smart bombs, in this case the smart bombs will have a smaller payload to not make the dumb bombs obsolete

@Frazzler i know right! A bombing recticle would be the best! We've recently had a talk about it in the forums and it got a lot of positive feedback

Another idea was countermeasures, flares or chaff, the thing is that people would just spam those onto their planes
