Whilst it may be plain, the very subtle elegance and understated appearance is the difference. If I wanted to build a full out sedan, I would've gone and done so. A semi finished sedan with poor details is even more gimmicky and unfathomable. A clean, simple vehicle is better than a half-assed one, with no ugly, unfitting details. If you want to make a car, do it properly. The reason I made this in the first place was because I wanted to make moving model of the cars from DB's town, which were very clean and had a decent design language. @Deadly8Nightshade
Thanks. I can't get the background mod, and I'd figure the lilac hue stands out against the subtle blue paint of the car. Maybe I should make it bigger, though, or just give it a circular shape instead, because the edge and different shades on the first pic were not very satisfactory @DickBrazen
A fake spoiler in this setting is quite tasteless. From the rear, it ruins any pretence of elegance. A side skirt makes this look like a boy racer, which is way too common, and in even more ways, stupid. @Deadly8Nightshade
Good idea. I don't really think Invictus might have a build though. Plus, if I remember correctly DickBrazen also said he'd join but isn't ready. Also, I know you might be a bit anxious to get your build graded but I have a lot of schoolwork to do, and I don't think I'll be really free until June. Thanks a lot for understanding. Love your entry too. @SaintNPC
No. Considering that I got about 10 upvotes slapping a few pieces of wings together for my last flag, I figured I could get a quick upvote or two with this one. Turns out that's not really the case. Plus, flags are cool. @QingyuZhou
No, it absolutely wasn't- please get your historical facts right. There was only one democratic election then, and that was staged. The former half of the 20th century saw the fall of the Qing dynasty, widespread famine, flooding, natural disasters, Japanese invasion, and a bloody civil war. By 1949, China was a backwater country with a literacy rate of 20% and a national average life-expectancy of 35 years. @Omel
Well, to be scientific both are Chinese Flags. That is no flag of Taiwan- it is the Republic of China. The idea of China as a new country was only proposed after the KMT evacuated to Taiwan- originally, they would still be two factions of the Republic of China. Taiwan was under Japanese rule for most of the first half of the early 20th century. It was only handed to the ROC in 1945, after Japan lost WW2.
@AndrewGarrison
@DickBrazen No worries mate. I'm not active nowadays either.
oh hi, this looks interesting
Why not? @MangoBuilds
дa @ErikaItsumi
History is to be preserved and honoured, not revised.
+2Is this supposed to be an aircraft or rocket?
+1Why the name?
Yikes, detail for the hair is incredible.
+1;) @Bobofboblandia
Very busy. Will be postponed indefinitely. @Sm10684
You're welcome. How about a remake of a Toyota Crown Comfort HK taxi? @QingyuZhou
飛機右邊的中文字厲害。
You're right, sorry. @Planeacceleration
That was delibberate. @Planeacceleration
If only he could spel as well as his build quality.
I'm curious, but why don't you use a big piece of hollow fuselage for the steering wheel instead of many small fuselages?
Hmm, would be fun if you made the Empire State building @FlagsWorldwide
Sure, don't worry. @DickBrazen
Seems quite large

+1Hmmm... A sphere. @DickBrazen

What are you talking about? @Rickyjasper2
Good idea, I think this is wide enough though @Rickyjasper2
T
bag
-Deja vu intensifies
+1Well, it seems furry would be a more appropriate term to describe this build due to its stature. @SaintNPC
I think so too. Anyways, that's where I come in. @DickBrazen

Shadowed said he would join, but so far it's just SaintNPC and you. @Sm10684
Mmmm... Candy. I'm hungry now.
卧槽,你骚不骚,这家伙还有鸡巴。
@DickBrazen @SaintNPC @Sm10684 how does it look?
Well, that's just a few more stripes. Plus, I don't think many people will appreciate it. @SpicyDryTofu
Should be furry not fury
Maybe I should make an armoured parade next time. Or just put a soldier figurine saluting the flag. @QingyuZhou

+2I'm on Mac using 1.9, and unfortunately I can't use it too. Anyways, great build!
You are pardoned
:) @Omel
+2Oh @Vuki11
A bit of trivia- the big star represents the mainland, and the smaller stars represent Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Tibet.
Jk, it was actually meant to represent the four working classes in a socialist country.

+2Eh. Guess the cross-strait relationships do get quite tense sometimes. @FlagsWorldwide

+3Nearly a century. This was actually an evolution of flags used by the Qing Dynasty, during China's most troubled times. @Omel
+2Overall design aesthetic seems to be quite nice- would be even nicer if there was an emblem.
+1Wow, this would've been good for your upvote/download challenge @QingyuZhou
Thanks! @FlagsWorldwide
