I think the fact that you have to use ad-hominem (a logical fallacy) to try and get your point across just shows how sour as a person you must really be. Nothing in my comments justify you calling me an idiot and it goes to show that you are uneducated in forming a cohesive argument.

Secondly, the Blackhawk is a style of helicopter while a 155 mounted on a 6X6 is a platform. Platforms are the only way to do things while styles can have multiple interpretations. And regarding your comment that France built a 6X6 SPG before America doesn’t prove anything. That is a fallacy called false cause, and actually the Americans built many SPGs before France they just didn’t have it mounted on a cheaper vehicle. Since America didn’t copy their tech, truck, or gun it’s not a copy especially since we have recoil tech on BRUTUS that far exceeds CAESER.

In regards to your logic of the Blackhawk, there are many ways to build a helicopter everyone didn’t have to choose the style it was built in but they did because it was a successful helicopter. There are multiple examples of this such as chinas new helicopter and this helicopter.

On your comment about opening up a history book I advise that you do the same as we never had to help you in the war. It was Japan who bombed Pearl Harbor, not the Germans. Had the Germans not declared war we probably would not have helped, as it was seen as a very costly and risky move at the time. We didn’t have to bail you out but we did.

I’m not really sure you can say we owe Europe for our creation as the United States was not built by European culture but by the frontier. If you would like to contest this point I would ask you to read Frederick Turners “Frontier thesis.” While yes the majority of people did come from Europe they fled for a reason, because there were tyrants back home. The US is actually a refugee nation fleeing from the feudalism system so your argument about we owing Europe anything is entirely false.
In regard to your personal attack (ad-hominem) on me being toxic, I would like you to notice who is the one calling people names, as it is you not I. The definition of toxic is: very harmful or unpleasant
I would say that the one who is being unpleasant is the one calling people names. Also please watch your language on SimplePlanes please, Andrew Garrison already talked about this stuff in his most recent forum post. (Continued on next post)

“Drained your soul” lmao that’s pretty much right. I mod a server with a bunch of my friends. It’s exhausting.

  • NH-90 Helicopter 3.8 years ago

I find it funny that you think the BRUTUS is an American copy of the CAESER truck. Only the names are similar and it pretty much ends at that. If every 6X6 155mm Howitzer is a copy of the CAESER then I don't know what to tell you bud, because you are clearly disillusioned. Almost every SPG is a 155mm on a 6X6 chassis and the BRUTUS actually has better tech with the soft recoil so it's not a copy. It still wouldn't be a copy if France made the first 6x6 155mm, which they didn't.

  • NH-90 Helicopter 3.8 years ago

@CharlesDeGaulle Wow, you sure seem like a nice guy (sarcasm). It was no insult to the French or the Europeans so I'm not sure why you reacted like that. The entire western world wouldn't exist as we know it without the US, bailing you out of both WWI and WWII so if you really want to take potshots like that I can do this all day.

  • Boeing 727-100 Jetair 3.8 years ago

Looks too long compared to the wings. But other than that it looks kool

  • NH-90 Helicopter 3.8 years ago

Ah yes the European copy of the blackhawk

  • YF-19 3.8 years ago

@RYAviation Just because it is fictional doesn't mean it shouldn't defy the laws of physics if it is supposed to be a somewhat realistic design like this.

  • YF-19 3.8 years ago

Well, if that were the dimensions of a real plane it would have wing loading, lift, and capacity issues since the wings are so small compared to the rest of the body. So maybe you should do some research on aeronautics, lift, and conventional designs before you criticize me who has studied aerospace for years.@RYAviation

  • Advanced American Weapons Package 3.8 years ago

@Rakoval500k These work for me. You are probably attaching them incorrectly try attaching them with the attachment menu then move them into place

  • Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25P Foxbat 3.8 years ago

@KnightOfRen it works for everyone else dude just sayin. when you attach parts you do it outside of that blueprint view. Then you adjust the dimesions when you go back to that view. There is an orthographic view button in the viewing controls that looks like two squares.

@KnightOfRen wdym, its the easiest system ever lmfao
all you have to do is import a picture and scale it and build...

  • F-6EJ Zenko 3.8 years ago

the colors on the armament are also incorrect you should have used common conventions for the paint scheme of the armament. Sorry to nitpick but im a weapons guy

  • F-6EJ Zenko 3.8 years ago

@Dimkal the tails still look too extended, did you use a blueprint when you built the weapons?

  • F-6EJ Zenko 3.8 years ago

realistically its performance is ok except for the engine which is way too small to produce enough power. This also goes 500 knts with the wings not swept its not really feasible and its supposed to be more of an attacker based on the design. The engine just seems too small in comparisin to the rest of the plane to be honest. The functionality of everything is great however. On the design, it seems more eastern design than western design. Japan hasnt made an indigenous fighter yet so i would have gone more along the lines of a multrole fighter jet.

  • Hello i have a question for you 3.8 years ago

COM directly under the rotors you can get it there most of the time using the weight shift. Also, go into xml in the rotor scalars and turn everything that has torque in the name to 0. Gyros are ok to use for Helios but try to only use 1 and for basic operation only. You can add another one for hover if you like.

  • Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 30 3.8 years ago

Thnx I’ve been doing a lot of flight models recently in lieu of time consuming projects. Learned a lot more about how wing loading and things like that impact performance. I would like to see an AOA performance fix in the near future though. Gotta be honest, one of the most frustrating things, and yes it’s up there with the undo button lol. Thanks a lot again nice to have praise from a dev @weebabyseamus

  • Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 30 3.8 years ago

@edensk First of all, you’re assumption of F-16 performance is inaccurate at best. If you have ever flown an F-16 or even in a simulation like DCS you normally won’t hit even 20 AOA plus it’s even harder to hit it in SP. ChiChiWerx already hit on your 4Gs comment, and for stall speed the F-16 normally lands at 130-140knts. Your nitpicking on detail is something that I have not found while reviewing this build and he did have someone help him with the flight model. ME. So if you want to critique this build I would like you to first do some more research and have some toleration for Simple Planes inaccuracies in AOA. And second, have some respect for the builder. I am only that harsh on people who call it a replica and flies like crap. So I would advise you to hold your tongue. I respect you and your outlooks most of the time but certainly not on this.
