  • Coding for a Two-Stage afterburner? one month ago

@griges works flawlessly. Thank you, I shall credit you on aircraft that use your method. As an aside, I need to sit down one day and let funky trees. Once again, thank you. Oh, yes, one more thing, the code was only ever intended for visual effects, I'll use a completely different engine internally to create the last 10 percent of thrust.

  • Schokolate Sc-183 + Aircraft that I will post in honor of Simpleplanes Two 2 days ago

@Graingy yeah I made this plane kinda bad. I'll remake when Simpleplanes Two is on mobile. I used too many parts and too thick a wing. It was my first try with heavy bombers, and the main thing is that it carries 8000 pounds of bombs.

@B1BLancer Thanks! I would have assumed it's just like an annoying discord ping.

As a side note, I would like to say I quite like the look of your newest craft, which, as you note, is inspired from the A-1. However, your version stays true to form, just seams to be more in a COIN-OPS sort of thing, while mine's seems more like a death trap. I might use that gear configuration one day. Once again, thanks.

@griges Thank you. The cone works flawlessly. I shall make sure to credit you in this, and future builds. Once again many thanks for the assistance.

  • Intake shock cone movement. one month ago

@griges fully retracted it just at zero tas, at extended maximum at mach 2. The current solution I am using involves two pistons, one which extends at about 500 miles per hour and one which extends at about 1000 miles per hour, for mach one and two flight respectively. However, even though the first postpone functions well, the second piston tends to clip into the first and cause... minor issues.

@Monarchii yes. That is the objective. The aircraft I am creating moves at about mach 2 and some. It has probably been done on this site but I am currently working on creating my own solution. Most likely will be like 10 pistons that move slightly based on total air speed.

Incredible. Big fan of odd aircraft, and the u 2 has always fit the bill. Fun to fly as well, pretty historical stats, just love it.

Oh, I have one more question.

Sometimes people go into the comments (like right now) and begin to @ people. Can anyone please inform me what that means or its purpose?
    Thanks in advance.
