So it's the exact same plane, just with different fuel loads? That's really odd if so, though I can see why no one would notice it: you rarely spend all your fuel.
I'd say only give up if you feel like it's holding you back from other ideas, even then just shelf it and work on other projects. Maybe you'll come back and continue: in the end, it might just be worth it...
@TopMikeSadano If you want to increase the horsepower of the engine above the normal max, I highly recommend downloading a mod called Overload. This mod essentially allows you to xml mod parts within the game.
Make the leading edge of the wing first, using circular fuselages.
Then, make the top of the wing out of the same circular fuselages scaled to size.
Then make the bottom half flat, out of hard fuselages.
Make a fuselage that goes to a point, then make that the leading edge.
This is usually what I see happening for realistic aerofoils, it seems to work well. It'll require fine tuner of course (or the game's tweaker if you're ok with that) and maybe overload.
@StarKnight697 I don't see SR2 as a sequel to Simple Planes, rather a completely different game entirely. I don't see why the developers cannot work on Simple Planes and SR2 after SR2's release.
I'd personally love to see more optimisations, a wider variety of guns, better AI and smoke grenades. Oh and please let us remove the crosshair from cockpits...
Ok so this isn't exactly ideal, however the only solution I could come up with was this (proof of concept). It is 4 VTOL nozzles which are set to 0 thrust, with 4 scaled down Blasto J15 engines inside them. The thrust of these engines is scaled up to match roughly the VTOL's. These engines can be set to different AGs, the only issue is the increase in fuel consumption. It may be a slightly cheaty fix, but it is my only solution.
Whenever I need to make an object invisible, I simply scale it down with finetuner (overload can do this too, just a bit more complicated). I feel like there's a better way, as often when the part is scaled down enough to be invisible you cannot access the part again. Good luck solving your query.
@Destroyer5713 I meant that they would go on other peoples planes then compliment them, which is fine. Then they would proceed to ask them to check out his plane, which to my understanding is violating the rules. I'm sorry if my deduction was not correct but you shouldn't try to sell your planes on other's posts. It's all fine now though, so should we just leave it at that?

Cool, the wings do seem a bit short though.
Cockpit's gonna need a bit of cleaning... And the tail... And the gear... Yeah it's gonna be a lot of work...

Sun protection not included.
yes

It looks amazing, though it's pretty rare to see a build this detailed use the game's landing gear!
A fine addition to my collection...
How many parts do you expect the finished car to have? 750 for the bare frame is incredible!
DC-10?
So from what I've seen:
Make the leading edge of the wing first, using circular fuselages.
Then, make the top of the wing out of the same circular fuselages scaled to size.
Then make the bottom half flat, out of hard fuselages.
Make a fuselage that goes to a point, then make that the leading edge.

The answer is Simple...
Could you please tell me what this improves over the original?
@StarKnight697 Okay then, just I'd really hate to see Simple Planes abandoned if it is being replaced.
@Tazziedevil04 Congrats.
@Tazziedevil04 Sorry about the double post, my internet isn't that great right now.
Who knew something so cute could be so deadly?

@DemonSniper8 I think so :(
It's pretty good! I'd just really like to be able to turn it on and off.
It wouldn't hurt to have more, so I guess that's a fine idea with me.
@FalconGT12 I believe it's meant to mirror their name...
When you run out of ideas...
Must've been an interesting sight for the F 15 pilots...
Cool, the new (ish) gyros are pretty useful.
I will help too if you'd like.
@WarHawk95 Without other engines as in my solution, no I don't think it is possible.
It actually looks real!

So I'm assuming the problem's still present, and that you want the vtol engines to be activated by AG 1-4 separately. I'll give it a shot.
I feel like some of these things I don't want to remember...
Hey, that's pretty good!
The flight was fairly smooth! A couple things I will say:
The plane tended to want to pitch up, making precise maneuvers difficult, as the plane can be reluctant to pitch down.
The rest of the flight was smooth so, no problems there.
I found the max speed to be around 560 mph with autopilot at 20000 feet.
I'd wait for more user's experiences as they may differ.
@TheDepressedPig Feels bad indeed. All in good humor at least.
I wouldn't mind testing it either.
@PRC1949 @DepressedTortoise @KidKromosone Well I'm stupid. Do you want me to delete the comment or leave it? Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Simple, but looks nice.

This should be 1,280 horsepower. I'd be more than happy to take another look if you have any issues with it.
I went to a flight museum quite like this, but I suppose most flight museums are generally pretty similar.
Cue 007 theme.
There are few truly great mysteries to life, but one of them is why this thing has so many upvotes.
Is this a modification of another T 34 or completely designed by you?
As many a people have said, the A 10 is a plane designed around a gun!
Looks a bit more like a destroyer to me, but I am no ship expert. Great build!
Try this.

Flies like a brick but the exposed mechanical parts look cool.
