Further evaluation and sea trials ordered by Generaladmiral Glynda also have proven that the most optimal range to use the naval guns against enemy ships is at 6 miles [10 kilometers]. Getting any closer will risk the torpedoes getting hit and blow up the entire ship from amidships.
