Personally not a fan of the exagerated armament, however I do like the shape of the plane! You should have gone with doing custom wheels too! Would have been nice to see a more sturdy landing system
@asteroidbook345 if you are forced to skip the 1000 part mark, you score will drop. You will not be disqualified.best of luck!! I'm looking forward to building it :)
I built the plane, It was a fun ride to build!
A small note that there are a few XML edits were noted, however I will not be stingy about it because it does not affect the final product. [Small penalties still imply]
@RamboJutter Perhaps you could revert the XML values back once you finish the build and remove the Wing game part from inside the wings - Reducing the amount of game parts used
@Tang0five I got the idea when I asked a friend to 3D print my Aquan plane. I had to disassemble it for him to print it without wasting too much resource on supports.
If there's a winner for the competition, maybe you can commission someone to 3D print the model for you to build in real life?? Just throwing a suggestion....
@RamboJutter - Build the plastic kit on Simple planes for me to build and paint as per instructions stated above. See the example posted above to have an idea what I'm talking about.
Since the plastic kit won't be flying, driving or sailing (or any combination), Weight balancing shouldn't make a difference unless you put it on a stand and its weight balance is off.
The challenge is for me to build the plane, and make it in a pose without it falling off. I discouraging that you use any weight advantage, or XML edit your way out of an awkward pose...
@rexzion I have seen beautiful planes in this place with functional cockpits using less than 800 game parts. Since the challenge does not require moving parts, I felt it's completely unecessary to have too many parts. That asides, your comment has been noted and I upped the game parts to 1000.
The challenge is an airfix challenge. I want you to build me an assembly kit that I can build and finish myself; Similar to this spitfire kit.
@gaw22pilot Also, if you (or anyone else) wished to modify the plane to make it a more stable version, please, by all means, go right ahead, modify and share the plane.
@gaw22pilot wierd.. I just downloaded and tested it a bit...
I haven't blown myself up with this model... Don't know how that could have happened :/
As for jiggly flight and automatic rolling, this tends to happen a lot with my planes when you use sharp controls (Example using the Keyboard instead of mouse or joystick), but if you use smooth controls, it flies like a charm.
By any chance, is your game running a little slower? It does tend to happen when your PC is finding difficulty processing the game. Especially when you're playing multiplayer and someone is using a plane with very large part count...
@Wheatman1 I am not doing requests right now, but your request has been noted. Yes, for those following me, I am still intending to do your requests, but unfortunately I am not doing requests for now... Sorry for the inconvenience...
@Inuyasha8215 Dunno how I made it work back when I built this. Will remake this in the far future. If you got suggestions on how to fix it, let me know.
Honored that you have chosen my 747 to make this. I myself had originally planned to put windows and doors on my model, however it threw up the part count, even slowing down my pc (not potato, but close...)
@FaulWercht did not understand what you meant. This was not intended to be a remake, just a non-mod release of my other mig-29. Idea is realism, not aesthetic.

@EternalDarkness thank you, most appreciated :)
@EternalDarkness - Kindly tag my plane to @Veronica 's Cold war challenge please...
@rexzion - here's my entry for this challenge
+2@Veronica - My entry for your Cold War Challenge
@RamboJutter 2 entries, however if both planes get top 4, you will be rewarded on your best one.
Doesn't fly as smoothly as your other one. Funnily enough there was a rejected canard design in the original documentation
+1I made this project a while back myself. Your plane flies pretty smooth! Keep it up :)
+1@rexzion Looking forward :)
@RamboJutter it's fine, you still got a very good score ;)

Excellent Model!!! I will build it up tomorrow and will score it :)
+1I will reveal the score once the challenge ends
The scoring system has been updated.
@RamboJutter no issue with drag since the models won't be tested against wind but against gravity. That much I will allow you to keep.

Hope that answers your question?
@Tang0five thanks for noticing, deadline extended.
+1An example has been added
@asteroidbook345 As I advised in the comment below, the game parts rule has been upped from 700 to 1000 game parts.
@DeathStalker627 I changed a rule, you can use the mod.

@Brendorkus Fixed, let me know if you're interested
@teodor99 Not to worry, just a suggestion / contemplating - not a request so no rush ;)
Very nice and smooth flyer! Would be awesome if it either had gears or a docking ship similar to the planes from the Crimson skies series!
Very rewarding plane to fly! you MUST make a higher definition version of this plane!!!
+2@TheMitsuboshiBoi I'll be on and off - not anywhere close to how much I used to...

+1@gaw22pilot By all means, let me know where you found the issues. [Re: Landing, I find landing at about 280 / 300km/h with flaps is the best]
+1@DimitriIqbal91 I'll be on and off - not anywhere close to how much I used to...
@Wheatman1 - it's ok :)
@Wheatman1 I am not doing requests right now, but your request has been noted. Yes, for those following me, I am still intending to do your requests, but unfortunately I am not doing requests for now... Sorry for the inconvenience...
Flies like a beut! Keep up the good work!

+1@Thelegitpilot13 Then I have to say congrats on making an accurate design without the 3-view feature :)
@anonymoususer976 followed the orignal documentation
@TheBlyatful1941 not intentional
+1@Inuyasha8215 That was my overall idea yes
@Thelegitpilot13 When you follow the 3-view design, all builds of the same plane will look alike xD
@EngineerOtaku How about this?
+2Very good work!!! Would be awesome is someone makes a 747 for this :D
+1LOVE THIS!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! :D
+1Perhaps I would recommend you try out to make the Moller Skycar M400 ? Your VTOL setup would make a fantastic version of this!
cute!!
Fun to fly, didn't figure it would be such a smooth flyer at those speeds!
reminds me of turok dinosaur hunter xD
