Very nice design! was fun to fly!!
From a realistic design perspective I'm not sure if the air-brake position would be a problem as it covers the Vertical Stabiliser. That's just me over-analysing...
I only have to address 2 small problems:
1 - The flaps move upwards, a simple funky tree clamp(VTOL,0,1) would be great
2 - The rear gunner seems stuck in position. Just a little bit of attachment editting would fix it right up!
Other than that, it is a gorgeous build and a fun flier! keep it up!!
I have to say I am impressed by this Update!!! Well done devs!!
It takes some time to get used to some of the controls, but once you get the hang of it, it's brilliant! Now I really wish I had a VR headset to test out my latest A-8 Aquan D-3 Release!!
@ReinMcDeer As mentioned, it's an open discussion.
An air superiority fighter is usually a plane that can linger around in the sky for a long time, carry enough armament to take down as many planes as it can, supersonic and maneuverable.
The mig-29 can do most of it, sure, but the only thing it suffers is flying time and loadout (at least compared to it's contemporaries). It's a fuel hog... if you ever tried the dcs version, you'll understand why it won't fly for long. And when you consider it's only 6 pylons (and 1 fuel-exclusive) you see it doesn't do much outside of intercept incoming enemies, rather than going to enemy lines... In essence it's kinda like an upgraded mig-21... just 2 extra pylons and more maneuverable...
Again, I LOVE the mig-29, sexiest Russian military hardware! Just saying I don't think the early mig-29s would have done much...
Small note:
I don't think you could really call the mig-29a an air superiority fighter. The loadout is way too small and its capability beyond fighter isn't exactly top notch compared to the Su-27 or F-15. Just a small note open for discussion...
@Tang0five Yes, It's infuriating me. I can't seem to find why it's doing it!! Everything should be green. No reason to do it. :(
(apologies for earlier comment, I misread your comment)
1 - The Centre of Mass is too close to the to the Centre of lift. IT should be closer to the front using Dead weight option
2 - The engines you are using are WAY too strong for this small plane. Because of it, the whole plane flips. Instead of Blasto BFE150, suggest you use J15 or J50
3 - Use Fusalage inlets in front of the Engine parts, it won't give you air-intake errors
@Amirabadi After you make sure the mod is active,
- Pose the machine
- pause the game and choose the camera angle you wish
- press F9 to hide the hud and menu
- press f12 to take a screenshot
- Once you upload you machine, the last 3 screenshots will show.
The weight of the plane is too close to the Centre of lift. You will need to either put dead-weight closer to the engine, move the wings backward or move the fusalage forward.
This is a fantastic job!! Keep it up!
I would have personally made the throttle the acceleration rather than the VTOL tab, other than that, it's perfect!!
@Tang0five You seem to use the windows version, why not give it a spin? At least till the devs release an official version...
@SyntheticL You are right. I gave it a basic star shape because i didn't want to add too much to the part count.
I wish they would add ASCII characters to the new labels feature, it would save me A LOTTTTTT OF TIME...
+2Bben following your Metal slug stuff recently, pretty damn impressive :D
Perhaps you'd consider This bad boy for your next build?
Very nice model!! Keep it up!!
+1Tag me when it's released please :)
Impressive work!! This should be something simpleplanes integraes in-game now that gauges are available
+2Gorgeous model!!! Keep it up :)
Awesome work! Keep it up!
+2@RamboJutter Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that! Nevermind I said that, awesome design!!

T !!!
@Tang0five Perfect timing too! With the new update you can make a refueller version
Clever!!! good to know!!!
Gorgeous glider!!! Keep it up!!

Lovin this plane!! very nice, simple and elegant! Wish I had a VR headset to test it out!!!
@Oogabooga21 You can use the transform part to move the required part in place. It is not a drag-and-drop system. Might need a remake in due time..
+1Me reading this list
+4Kar-98?
+1I suggest to wait for the next update to do this. It will reduce your part count significantly!!
Other than that looks awesome!! Keep it up!!
Builder: So, What armament would you want for this design?
Designer: Yes...
Builder: Where would y...
Designer: Did I stutter?
@RamboJutter True come to think of it! Although since you used rotated blocks, your looks more like an f-19 I think...
Cute model. If you want to stabilise the plane without the use of Gyros, You will need:
To add VTOL RCN pods around the body to have manual control
and
Ensure that the Centre of Mass is literally over the Centre of Thrust. That way it won't tilt forwards / backwards / Sideways during vertical lift
The elevator animation seems to be inverted, other than that, awesome job!! Keep it up!!!
+2Excellent model! Keep it up!!
+2@parkrangerjerry that's fine, as I said, it's a very good model so don't be hard on yourself!
@parkrangerjerry flaps and bomb bay. would be something to consider once the new update it out
+1Very good model!! Keep it up!
+1A few alterations would have made it a gorgeous plane!

Great build!! Watched the commentary by "Laz" - Gave me a great appreciation to how much thought is put into the building process of this plane!
Gorgeous plane! Interesting blend of rafale and f-18!! I will test this later!!
+1@Highbraker ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Pretty good basic model! Keep it up!!
@TheSolarFlare that's why you should fix no.2.
If you insist on using the bfe150, reduce the engine power using overload
Not bad!! Keep it up! :)

@CC1010 Felt like building them :3
@Amirabadi 🤷 dunno, go to the mod page and ask there
@Infinity It'll be more maneuverable if it's closer to the centre of lift. If it's too close it will flip uncontrolably.
Also for the Leaning to the right thing, I've been having the same problem, I think it's a bug, not sure though...

Very nice design! Keep up the good work!
+1The roll function of the right wing should be "Roll" not "roll" - Capatalization is important in functions.
Also, The Roll & VTOL fuselage parts are connected together. Check the Attachment editor to see if they should be connected or not.
The weight of the plane is too close to the Centre of lift. You will need to either put dead-weight closer to the engine, move the wings backward or move the fusalage forward.
