@asteroidbook345 The SU-39/ Su-25T is essentially a modified SU-25 Trainer (Like this one); but the Instructor pilot's seat had been replaced with electronics, radar and sophisiticated equipment.
@BeryllCorp Agreed. The way a 3d printer prints is kinda like a layered 2D printer over multiple layers, and since it uses plastic, it gives the ridged look all over. When you scale up the model it doesn't show as much, but the smaller it is, the more it shows.
Unfortunately some parts were a bit too thin (particularly wings) and sanding them might have damaged the parts. Something to consider if any of you are going to 3d print your planes.
@BagelPlane My friend made a fantastic job on it. He uses professional painting equipment to draw figurines of Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons. So I left it up to him, and the results are really awesome!
@RandomUser09 It's supposed to be a blend of A-7 Corsair, A-4 Skyhawk, Fiat G.91... sort of.. Future details here But I have made considerable changes since.
@Droidy247 Not taking requests for the moment. Sorry. It is a very nice helicopter though I admit! Why not try building it yourself? It doesn't look too hard to build, or at least needs a bit of time to build right
As always, fantastic job! I would recommend using fusalage parts instead of panel parts for the bomb bay doors. That way it would give the plane a smoother look to it
I like the simplicity to it, and flies pretty smoothly!
For better realism, I suggest you fix up the following:
For trims, set the rotator input to "Pitch+Trim".
For flaps, Set the Control Surface to "clamp(VTOL,-1,0)"
Place the guns underneath the fusalage (as per the real thing)
Implement the airbrakes with slightly lower drag force.
@OPaiTaOn. I would suggest the following:
1 - TAKE YOUR TIME. More than upload the same plane every 2 steps, It would be more rewarding to submit when making major changes.
2 - Make your own wheels. This will look much better, and can help you with a smaller bottom-belly.
3- If you're gonna make a HUD or cockpit, I recommend going all the way. Passenger parts and all.
The following are personal ideas on how to make it look cooler:
4 - Scaling up to about 7m / 22ft long
5 - widen the wings about by an additional 1m / 3ft
6 - widen the tail exhaust part
7 - with regards to supports or weapon pylons, recommend you find real examples and try to replicate them.
8 - Maybe make your own weapons? A GBU bomb perhaps? Find some other people who made it already and put it in your design
The rest looks awesome as is... I like the overall shape! Good luck on your next update, looking forward ;)
Interesting design, handles pretty well, smooth flyer... Not a fan of the over-sized belly portion? (unless it was designed as a cargo hold of sorts)... Highly recommend you go all out on this plane! full on detail! (Did the same on a design of my own)
Congratulations @RamboJutter, this model has reached 2nd place in the Airfix competition!

This plane will not receive upvotes, because another plane has received a better scoring
@asteroidbook345 doesn't have to be perfect for the challenge. Doesn't mean you have to snip your plane in half. You can see the example I made to see what I mean
@gaw22pilot Also, if you (or anyone else) wished to modify the plane to make it a more stable version, please, by all means, go right ahead, modify and share the plane.
@gaw22pilot wierd.. I just downloaded and tested it a bit...
I haven't blown myself up with this model... Don't know how that could have happened :/
As for jiggly flight and automatic rolling, this tends to happen a lot with my planes when you use sharp controls (Example using the Keyboard instead of mouse or joystick), but if you use smooth controls, it flies like a charm.
By any chance, is your game running a little slower? It does tend to happen when your PC is finding difficulty processing the game. Especially when you're playing multiplayer and someone is using a plane with very large part count...
@Inuyasha8215 Dunno how I made it work back when I built this. Will remake this in the far future. If you got suggestions on how to fix it, let me know.
Honored that you have chosen my 747 to make this. I myself had originally planned to put windows and doors on my model, however it threw up the part count, even slowing down my pc (not potato, but close...)

+1@OPaiTaOn glad you liked it - though I wish to have worked a bit more on the HUD and cockpit, but perhaps I will update it in the far future.
+1Very cool, always like flying this plane :D
+1@realSavageMan Unfortunately your AK-Vehicle uses Gyros for stability, which is against the rules of this challenge.
+1Awesome SU-24! Very good model! Keep up the good work!!
+1@UltimatePlayer123 lol my mistake xD
+1Did not expect to see this plane here!!!
+1Awesome as always! keep it up!!

+1That's a freaken awesome concept!!!!
+1Cool model! Much easier to handle than my Cessna 182S!
+1@EngineerOtaku Thanks for your input! Had this problem a few times or so in my previous models. Will take note on fixing it for future models :)
+1@MageMobius You can disable aircraft collisions, or set it up that you can't activate them till gears are up.

+1Very nice flyer!! Keep up the good work :D
+1Looks awesome! Keep up the good work!
+1@Eeveemaybe sure! Looking forward :)
+1Flies like a beaut! You should consider making custom gears, that way it would look more fleshed out! Keep up the good work! :)

+1Such a nice flyer! Wonder if it's gonna show up in the Airfix challenge ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+1Doesn't fly as smoothly as your other one. Funnily enough there was a rejected canard design in the original documentation
+1I made this project a while back myself. Your plane flies pretty smooth! Keep it up :)
+1Excellent Model!!! I will build it up tomorrow and will score it :)
+1I will reveal the score once the challenge ends
@Tang0five thanks for noticing, deadline extended.
+1@TheMitsuboshiBoi I'll be on and off - not anywhere close to how much I used to...

+1Very good work!!! Would be awesome is someone makes a 747 for this :D
+1LOVE THIS!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! :D
+1xml edit - disableaircraftcollision = true for the cannon
+1@Luckbuild10000 still uploading the last remaining of my work. tomorrow should be the last upload for now
