You could remove the fuel from the wings and attach fuel to the engines so you don't have extra weight in your glider if you detach early. Glides decently a little nose heavy.
Um.... it would be hard considering you have jet engines going one way and propellers going the other and the wings are too small. You would have to completely redesign it.

Very maneuverable, not a lot of fuel though.

Cool design, but very hard to control if you use over 50% thrust.
Very speedy and maneuverable, tail heavy and it will rip it's self apart if you fly it too hard
