ok, so I found out the hard way that aircraft saved on the beta ARE NOT backwards compatible. However, if you make a copy of your build (Like the same name just with beta after it or something) you still have your old version and can still use that if or when you choose to leave the beta.
Even so, the beta aircraft will be available when the actual 1.11 update comes out.
But other than that, there's no real risk.
Well what I would recommend is build the detailed bits in a larger size, use fine tuner to rescale it to the desired size, then save it as a sub assembly to insert into your build.
@ShinyGemsBro The thing is, It doesn't use any beta parts, I'm not sure if it bars you from downloading it on other platforms. Android has the SP beta as well, unless you're using a non-steam copy on PC.
ok ok
I'm going off of memory here so I might be wrong
For windows I think it's located at (drive letter):\ Users\ (Your user)\ Appdata\ Locallow\ Jundroo\ Simpleplanes
but for android it's found in Android\data\com.Jundroo.Simpleplanes
I dont know the ones for mac or IOS.
I might be wrong on this.
Well in order for mods to completely disable, SP needs to be restarted. So what I would do is; 1) Disable the mod, 2) Close SP, 3) Remove the mod from the mod folder, 4) Insert the new mod/version into the mod folder, 5) Start SP, 6) Activate the mod.
Not sure if this will actually work, but hey, I'd say give it a shot.
I hope this helps!
Well I don't know about the long range light or delayed cannon, but if you set the input of the light to "FireWeapons" via xml, it lights up whenever you hit that button.
@WiFly look it up on google, there's a lot of cool concept designs to go off of. It's not exactly required to use magnet parts, you could just use a cannon part, but if you want challenge, go right ahead and use the magnets. I'd definitely like to see that.
That sounds fun. Count me in. Phoenix Industries builds more than just planes, you know. hehe
It's beautiful
+1NO PLEASE SPARE ME LORD MEGATRON I WAS ONLY DOING A BIT OF TROLLING

@ShinyGemsBro psst. how about that download lol
+1oh boi time to update lol
Maybe try using a shock, set to 7.5x dampening and strength. Also try putting a weight at the base of the wheel.
aww RIP no ADMM
Still a great build
damn it looks sick
No wonder it's as popular as it is
Here's the AF-09:
AF-09 Link
Have fun with it's low speed handling
(It is possible to land on a carrier, thanks to drag chutes. I checked.)
(Don't land too hard with the AF-09 on the front gear or it WILL break, but if you land like a normal person you should be good.)
