Thanks man! Yeah I had to put the scaled wings there... if I moved them any farther forward, the flight characteristics messed up. I know it’s a bit tricky to land, with the nose diving and all, but only if you’re going for STOL. If you land normally and without flaps, I think it does fine... thank you for the awesome feedback! I’m going to post another version with slats and hopefully with better flight characteristics. @XjayIndustrys
Oh okay gotcha. Are you saying I need to reduce drag as well as add slats? Do you have recommendations for slats? I’ve never made them before... also, you asked if it was intended for STOL competitions... does that mean that there are actually STOL competitions in SP? Is it something in multiplayer? @Chancey21 @ThePrototype
:) I guess I could have spent more time testing it than I did, but hopefully there was something helpful in my comment lol. If you’d like me to spend a little more time testing to give you more in-depth feedback, let me know @GenericWhiteGuy
Don’t worry, it’s not annoying! I really like the livery on this build, and the engines look sweet as well! I’d say the flight characteristics leave something to be desired though... @GenericWhiteGuy
If you’re talking about this particular plane, though, it’s not a ‘runaway mirroring’ problem, it’s just that this plane has lots and lots of parts haha. I checked it many times. Thanks for the advice though! :) @Thehiguy
Ohhh yeah. I’ve definitely experienced that problem before! Haha. So nowadays, once I have the basic parts of the plane roughed out, I stop using the mirror plane function and just mirror individual parts. @Thehiguy
Wow man this thing is so so cool!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a plane that looks quite like this... and it flies tremendously well! Seriously man, you did a great job, what a cool way to celebrate gold! Congratulations man that is so awesome!
Haha. Dang sorry I beat you to the punch. But honestly I had started collecting photos and blueprints for this plane about two weeks ago... but I still think you should make your own version, that would be sweet!
Thank you so much for your awesome feedback, as always :). You’re good peeps :) @XjayIndustrys
Thank you so much! Yeah, I think it’s more fun if you’ve gotta keep your eye on the fuel gauge. I know it’s got a tiny amount of fuel considering it’s supposed to be able to cross the Atlantic non-stop, but I didn’t think anyone would want to fly it that long haha. @ChiChiWerx
I like this, this is a handsome plane. Good job on the fuselage parts near the main lg. Really satisfying flight characteristics. And I really dig the wing flex too! Awesome work man!
Sweet man, I dig it! It flies great! Definitely a lot better than I had expected haha. Very creative/original design. I really like those little winglets on the back that fold up when you retract the landing gear. One thing that I thought of though, is the design feels a little flat, if you know what I mean. Like, there’s lots of wing parts, but they’re all on the same plane/line/level. Maybe you could make it so more of the wing parts in the middle of the plane fold up or out or something when you retract the lg, like the winglets in the back? Or maybe add some dihedral angle to some wing parts?
Haha. Well in my experience, psychiatrists are usually pretty full of themselves and quite often don’t actually know what they’re talking about hahaha so don’t sweat it. @XjayIndustrys
Yeah you’re right that what’s important is the builds, and having fun building and sharing. The points by themselves don’t really mean much. At least not to you or me, I think. The number of points a person has certainly isn’t a measure of their skill as a builder, I would say. @XjayIndustrys

+1What, ‘aww shucks’? No haha I have never read that series but I hear it’s great! @XjayIndustrys

+1You got featured!?! That’s awesome!!!! Great job buddy!!! @XjayIndustrys
+1:) thank you very much!! @getorge
+1This is a fantastic build. Looks great, performs even better. Really solid work man, well done.

+1How about a Ducati Monster? @AtomicCyclone
+1Looks fantastic man, great job, I love this plane
+1Haha you’re crazy. Thanks buddy.
I haven’t decided if I want to enter the challenge or not.

+1It is essentially a replica, yes. Although it’s Vickers Vimy, just FYI. :) @Kungfuevan
+1I like this, this is a handsome plane. Good job on the fuselage parts near the main lg. Really satisfying flight characteristics. And I really dig the wing flex too! Awesome work man!
+1Love that movie! Love this plane! Great work :)
+1Awesome plane! Great job on the cockpit!
+1Oh yeah I didnt realize it was so old, that’s cool haha @luciozanassi
+1It’s gonna take me a while to pick something out I think, since I’ve already posted the H1, so that ones out... @XjayIndustrys
+1Oh right, yeah. I’m guessing SR2 is going to take up a lot of our time haha. October, is it? The release date? @Chancey21
+1Looks good man, I like the II insignia. I really like the way it flies
+1Does that mean it has to be an actual replica? Like I can’t do what I usually do and give it a name that hints what it’s based on? @Chancey21
+1Ok. Hmm... well it’s historical, non-military, and a world record-setter. How’s that for a hint? @XjayIndustrys
+1Okay. Well I decided to move on to another project but I see what you’re saying. @Chancey21

+1I picked one out. Should be a pretty well known plane in this community... we’ll see if I can pull if off haha @XjayIndustrys

+1Yes please tag me! :) @XjayIndustrys
+1This is a great bushplane man I love it
+1I was feeling dejected and irritated so I just posted it.... @Leehopard
