@Stingray even better thats only the surface. the type VII that came before (and is the most produced submarine in its c variant) was the last submarine of german origin that had some of the crew bunks in the torpedo magazines. also wikipedia says that 6 type XXI did go on attack runs but i, when using the linked up bocklet can confirm only two of these runs but a guy called adalbert schnee that was comander of one of these runs encoutered allied convoys twice and wasnt detected. the type XXI is the reason why submarine detections isnt done with active sonar anymore (passive sonar is better against modern subs. the passive sonar of the type XXI is located in the big bulge under the bow and the ends of the two tubes towards the aft9).
@Stingray actualy the type XXI was build by companies inland in sections and they where delivered to the warfs for final construction. the complete service history of the type XXI was from the 20th of april 1944 till the end of the war and it was porbably the fastest to build submarine ever (118 launched units in a year, around 150 finished until the war ended and around 170 total that where on the warfs or launched). the lack of succesfull kills stems from the fact that the type XXI required special torpedos.. and the allies had destryed the production plant in a luckshot. also every submarine that was developed afterwards uses tech that was spearheaded witht the XXI like submarine based sonar, anti sonar cloaking; rubber padded engine mounts, the use of the pressure vessel as a interim airtank to keep the engine alive when the snorkel is submerged and potentialy even a basic anti radar cloak for the snorkel head. the type XXI also spearheaded the modern submarine: every thing on it was optimized for underwater operation (ok it still was lacking a shower but it had a radar detector so thats a trade of) like the small fact that it was the first german submarine with a waste water tank (one of the alternatives was a high pressure toilet that could be flushed under water but testing ended when a comander sunk hus boat by accidet with it). also it was under water as fast as surfaced or with better words: the first real submarine (every sub before was only ment to dive to hide itself from the enemy but the type XXI was build to be there wich is reflected in the build of the conning tower with a comedicaly small bridge aand the AA guns in front and back of the tower).
small facts to take note: the bridge of the type XXI is directly behind the frontal AA tower and under the frontal AA gun is the small bulge of the nibelung sonar. the anti sonar matts are still going strong wich means that there are still type XXI on north- and baltic sea that cant be found due to the alberich skin called sonar protection.
speed is depending of the source the same above and under water or even faster when diving but i call up the qoute official source here link to the german bock page: the speed is 17,2 knotts (thats equivalent to 32 km/h) on the surface as well as diving when the snorkel is in use.
@Stingray uhm sorry to break the immersion: this is not a two hulled submarine. and neither a single hull submarine. its somewhat of a intermediate construction (the two big bulky things left and right are the diving tanks).
@Weaverfish some qeustions: is the bomb realy a tallboy or a grand slam (they look similar but the grand slam is bigger) also you wrote the name of the ship wrong (tirpez instead of tirpiz). but besides this it looks great.
thats nor rocket launcher. that is a RPG yes you didn read it wrong its a RPG (rocket propelled grenade). and this is the original not the russian copy (panzerfaust 150 was build from february 1945 until the end of the war and the first russian rpg was build 1947). but the model is great so props to you.
@ASDFASDF1 why? did you forget to change the tracks to the road legal ones or did you drive over the world most famous cockroach (okthis would help turkey a lot)?
focke wulff designer kurt tank came up with the falke. the falke had a cockpit so small that the engine instrumentations where on the sides of the engine gondolas. it was better than the bf110.

@AWESOMENESS360 the joke was made by squire and is the name of my new canard ground attack plane challenge (the german name for canard plane is ente wich is the german name for duck so it goes full circle).
@AWESOMENESS360 the german name for a anti tank aircraft is panzerknacker wich translate to tank breaker. but if the thing us destinctivly shaped like the hs129 (also known as the duck) you can call it out as a panzerquacker.
@Type2volkswagen if you mean the gö 9 then it eas only the back end of the plane. and way to late to test extended drives (the first plane from germany with this arangement was a build by heinkel with the driveshaft running through the canopy).
@TheEpicMOONHAWK practicaly yes as long as it doesnt hurt. so if you do it to get better engines and overhaul some other stats to match it then nope problems at all (the xml allowed is becuase of the real planes usualy are purposebuild down to the gun and sp has no gun to realy match that).
@justanotheranon the thing had 5 guns. one sits in the propeller drive axle of the frontal propeller. the thing uses basicaly the guns placement of a bf109.

@CursedFlames also you are welcome too. the challenge has not very hard rules but i think the hardest part is to get a canard into not landing on water and eating tanks instead of bread.
@Mustang51 @CursedFlames first of all the horten 229 was a paper tiger and second the only weapon of the third reich i know of that had the propertys to at least take down the western allies was the type XXI submarine. oh and with paper tiger i mean that the builded planes where actualy called horten 9 and the planned production was giong to be called gotha 229. the ho229 is a mix between both names but wasnt used on the prototypes.
@Spitfirelad05 when you test a new build then test it from start to finish. my someaka prototype build had its first flight test when i had fixed the vertcal stabilizers to it. the same goes for the normans sky and every other of my own builds.
@Spitfirelad05 oh and btw: the normans sky has its good looks from the color sceme and the destinct wingshape. if you look a bit more closely you can see the very basic body shape.
@Spitfirelad05 my second go was actualy a ground attacker. it worked good and was done fast but it hand big clipping issues. the normans sky is still one of the planes i did that i enjoyed the most. but now its not functional anymore (the clipping can take out the wings). and i am not shure if i can do a remake of it that would give it the respect it has earned on a youtuber challenge i biuld it for.

actually such combination bombers where common at the end of the war. the dornier do335 was the most known.
