@Waredude ah, thanks for the link! From what I can see, you already have a very good base body to build on top of. As for the wings, depending on what shape you want them to be, you can use the nudge tool to put fuselages over the top of the wings, and this should help them blend into the body more. The key thing here is fuselages, and trying to get them into the right shape to fit together.
@PlaneBoy3 you can do anything! Custom ailerons and flaps are a bit harder to make, and might require a bit more parts, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping the default ones.
Instead of having the stock wings, put small fuselages over them. If you don’t know how to do that, you can use the ‘Nudge tool’. When hovering over the part you want to cover your wing, press the rotate arrow and then click on the gear.
You can also use small fuselages to add windows, decals (like ensigns and stuff) and connect some to rotators to make custom ailerons and flaps.
You can also use XML mods. If you haven’t done it or heard of it before it sounds more complicated than it is. Unfortunately you can only create your own XML mods in the PC or android version of the game. Alternatively you can search for XML modded parts.
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll release a teaser in the next few days, and i’m Thinking of releasing all the planes (and tanks) as a forum post with links to them all. I’ll also tag you if I build your suggestion!
Yeah, I had that problem with my iPad. I just selected some of the text above the binary and dragged those two selected slider thingies so that the binary is selected. I probably didn’t explain it as well as I could have, but that’s all I can think to do sorry. @plane918273645
One thing pretty much everyone does is build things out of fuselage blocks. Fuselage blocks are just like regular blocks, except you can change the size, shape, buoyancy or even add fuel. That’s one thing every new player needs to know, as it’s something that the best people use.
@jamesPLANESii thanks for the feedback, but how can I make the engines more steampunkish? This is my first time building a steampunk plane so i’m Not sure what looks good. I’ve played around with brass and copper colours that look pretty good, but i’m Not quite sure what else to add
Count me in
+2The second image makes me want to paint it red and call it a Magikarp
A tag would be greatly appreciated brother 🙏
It sounds great! If we can get a bunch more people I reckon we’d have a good server
This looks like it could be an awesome commercial jet if you make it bigger. Looks awesome!
This block seems to be of the highest quality

I think the wings aren’t the only problem

Could you send a link to an unlisted version of the plane?
@Thelegitpilot13 oh Oof, my bad. Tag me in the post so I can upvote it!
+1These are so cool!
Sounds like fun! I’m good to help If you pick me!
+1It looks and handles great! But in my opinion, the cockpit could be a bit lower into the fuselage, but other than that it’s awesome!
@Sadboye12
@lastv801
Thanks guys!

+1@PlaneBoy3 no, not much. It looks very good, and I love the futuristic design!
