One thing pretty much everyone does is build things out of fuselage blocks. Fuselage blocks are just like regular blocks, except you can change the size, shape, buoyancy or even add fuel. That’s one thing every new player needs to know, as it’s something that the best people use.
@jamesPLANESii thanks for the feedback, but how can I make the engines more steampunkish? This is my first time building a steampunk plane so i’m Not sure what looks good. I’ve played around with brass and copper colours that look pretty good, but i’m Not quite sure what else to add
If you haven’t tried it already, add a tail rotor as well as a main rotor. If that doesn’t help then use a gyroscope, which will allow you to stabilise your helicopter and also be able to control the helicopter a lot easier.
EDIT: Using gyroscopes is how a lot of the helicopters before the update were made, and they worked pretty well.
That hasn’t seemed to work. The main problem is the pitch wings make the whole back of the plane move up. It’s probably just me being stupid, and i’ll Try inverting the pitch wings. If that doesn’t work then i’m Not sure what to do
@ForeverPie
Thank you all so much, I’ve added some stuff but when I pull up, the whole backside of the plane lifts up.

Apart from not meeting some of the requirements (Object count, Laser weapon) This is a very good entry to my competition. It handles very well and looks great!
If you tap the arrow button when hovering over a part, press the wrench inside a gear. This lets you put stuff wherever you want and put millions of objects inside each other
Here’s a tip for making better shapes and not having to add seperate fuel blocks: You can use fuselages where you can make it any shape you want and add way more fuel.
Boring?
BORING?
This is so cool!

Thank you!
@Imashovel Thanks, it worked!
@jamesPLANESii thanks, i’ve Just been looking at some reference pictures and a lot of steampunk artworks have that. I’ll try it out!

Yeah, but I restarted my device and that fixed it

Ok, except I dn’t know many people that make mods
Aaaaaaand I don’t know how to tag people =v

Yes, thank you so much! @EternalDarkness
Thank you! But how do I make the rotator able to spin around infinitely? @randomusername
I’ll just put my plane here just in case. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Ylc8FA/GoblinTooheavy
I just did it but i’m Not sure if it worked..
Thanks! I’ll make an unlisted version real quick and tag you in it. I’ll also make sure to credit you when I upload it. @Phoza
Awesome job @Liensis! I’ll be judging it soon.
Oof I’m probably being an idiot
It won’t work...?
Ok, @everyone. I’m judging, submit your builds now! Good luck!
@GenericWhiteGuy Lol!
How long do we have to build it?
Make a flying boat that drops other mini boats into the water
@randomusername Sorry about that, i’m Working on a much lighter XML version so it won’t weigh anything.
Cool!
How do we do this competition? Is there a new game mode in game or...?

Here are some lasers for your builds

@huaishushu2333333 Thanks, I don’t really get many comments, so thanks as well

This plane handles so well
I can never make VTOL planes :(
IT BE VERY THICC
It does, you just need to keep pulling up. @Latios22
