In case anyone stumbles on this like I did;
1. You don't need "zeroOnDeactivate".
2. You need to set the input to, for e.g., "Activate1". The capitalised "A" seems to be important for my device at least.
3. Setting the Activation Group to None or, for e.g., 1, both mean you just press the one button. You can set a different AG, meaning that both AG's need to be enabled in order to work.
If this is wrong for anyone then maybe it's because XML works different for Android :P
@mikoyanster all good, I assumed that there would be hardware limitations, and I've heard that android can be difficult and/or exhausting to mod. I just wish I had a PC.
This looks awesome, but unfortunately my game tells me that I don't have the variable fuselage mod downloaded. Even though I do have the mod.
I tried redownloading the mod, still doesn't work. Does it not work through simplewings mod? Do I have to download the variable fuselage mod, not simplewings?
@tsampoy I was trying to make some landing gear for a Naboo N1 fighter (Starwars), and I wasnt expecting the "landing" to need the caps as well. I just googled to try and find it out.
In case anyone found this like me, and has the Overload mod or an xml editor, then you just need to set the input for the hinge/rotator/piston/etc to "LandingGear", caps are important.

+7@Sarnnox more you know - so either there's been an update which changed it, or it simply works different for PC. Either way, interesting.
+1this looks awesome, but RIP mobile...
+1I presume that this map on a phone would crash the game?
@TheMitsuboshiBoi very sad, yes.

I just disabled SimpleWings, i should only have one lot of the parts now, it's fine.
@metallicplanes yep, that worked. Thanks!
Btw now I have two sets of the variable fuselage parts in the menu
@metallicplanes I did remember to enable the mod.
Ok, I'll give the "exact same mod" a go then, hope it works.

Ok, i didn't realise the beta testing thing would affect uploads, sorry. Maybe you can get some tips from the desc. anyway. Good luck!
@IanPlaysGames825 and I didnt want to point out flaws, just add improvements. I thought it was a bit more constructive thinking.
@IanPlaysGames825 it was more yaw, I think. I know it was something I changed about the vehicle, but I dont know what.
Just finished it! If you want to see what I did with this post, look below:

I commented just in case anyone else was in the same situation as me.
