@AviownCorp if you are able to, share some pictures and tag me, I would love to see them! Unfortunately, I'm not an expert myself, but I personal,y hope to major in aeronautical engineering and work for a military contractor
@Squirrel you're joking right? You asked me show where you said he was wrong, I found multiple examples. If you want to back read and find those examples, go right ahead, you obviously have the time. I didn't comment that to show others what you said, I said it to show you what you said. Stop being a child. My original point was that you are too prone to overreacting and arguing over pointless matters, and you have definitely proven me right.
@Squirrel "With all that in mind, I think it would be safe to say that it is likely to be an expensive project to do by yourself let alone with the help of specialists. And for someone who's quitting a game on planes because of a lack of funds, I somewhat doubt they're going to be able to afford all that. But, I digress."
"welding aluminium is very hard to do. You have to be really skilled to do it as, unlike with steel, the temperatures, etc are very precise. In fact welding in itself is pretty skilled, aviation standard welding even more so. I'm not sure your average Joe would be able to do such things overnight. Moreover, I can't see him making a profitable business from making ultralight aircraft... Esspecially when you consider the number of standards you have to adhere to when making and selling aircraft"
"Besides, my original point still stands. If you want to build a flying vehicle on the cheap, then a UAV is the way to go."
.
I think it is childish to say that just because you didn't say "you're wrong" word for word doesn't mean you were saying it. Anyways, I don't have time to keep responding to your arguments, and I also feel that this topic doesn't deserve 10 hours of my time.
@Squirrel I have in fact back read your comments, and saying you agree with him on a few points doesn't change the fact that you have spent the better part of 10 hours attempting to prove that you are mostly right, and he is mostly wrong, over something that doesn't really matter. You might say that ED is doing the same thing, but in my eyes it seems like ED is trying to help Aviown try to achieve something he wants to do, where with you that isn't the case. Furthermore I am offended that you are attempting to say I am wrong just because he and I share chat group about discussing SP
@Squirrel Jesus dude, why do you have this huge urge to prove him wrong? Avioncorp is leaving this community because he can't make any planes in real life, and ED is trying to give him tips on how to build a plane. Wether he is right or not, getting Aviown to attempt to build a plane won't hurt him, and it could possibly keep him playing SP. Not sure why you are so against that.
@SpiritusRaptor Hey, it's me again. I've been looking for a text editor that works, and I haven't found any free ones. Could you give me a link to 'Notepad for OSX'?
