@Baguettemp4 It came out 6 years ago haha, you can fly it here: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/37lx5Y/Cessna-152 . If I remember correctly it doesn’t fly super accurately, especially flaps, takeoff, and landing. But it has been quite a while lol
@SirGareth
Yeah totally go ahead. I don’t have a ton of time lately so I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to check out the finished version but sounds interesting so far
@NANOMAN Fixed the rudder in description, thanks for letting me know. Sorry that you're unhappy, at a certain point past 1500 parts some details just can't be added perfectly. My F-86 is a design I'm not very proud of, so I'm glad you like it
@CRJ900Pilot
Yeahh didn’t end up fixing that issue. A mix of laziness, incompetence, and I also liked how it looked when flying over water (it’s a feature, not a bug)
I use it to save my in-progress builds because I’m super paranoid, and also because it’s nice for people to see my final post and click on the predecessor tab to see how I built it
Got my private pilot license for about $5000 usd total over 2 years.
If you save for a year or two you should easily be able to pay for one.
Depending on how lucky you are with weather and scheduling/how quickly you pick up flying it can cost anywhere from $4000-$10000 I estimate. Especially if you’ve already flown gliders I bet you’ll catch on quickly and maybe even need less time to study for the written test.
@ChiChiWerx probs not. The main problem is the wing dihidral isn’t totally accurate. For whatever reason when I tried rotating the wings slightly up earlier there were huge drag issues. I’ll probably try again before I post but we’ll see
