@Typhlosion130 Well i noticed that the heavier the glider the quicker the acceleration in certain parts of the race. Thats why i would reccomend on going heavier i have a glider that weighs 100,000 lbs and 3 layers of wings.
Overall not a bad design for Eagle Pass. Just extend the nose cone to 4.25 to decrease drag and throw more weight on. Your plane seems to be the only non-shaker plane to keep up with my Raven-IX at the start. Keep up the work
@SuperSanic I have found that there exists a fine balance between wing size and overall weight. In my countless tests to further improve the design I found that adding any more weight results in the design accelerating faster but in turn, is not being controllable. Add to big of wings and it maintains flight but becomes slow. One might say they are inversly porportional. But once you center the mass,put lift right behind it, and tag on the right amount of mass and wing surface area you can turn out something like this. Note that the wings are symmetric to have minimum lift for quicker acceleration. Also tweak surface controls that usually helps. In the short run pure Trial and Error. I just expiremented alot.

I drew inspiration from the Horten brothers and their glider designs. Specifically I chose the Horten Parabel for my Raven design.
Just tested it with Raven-IV it was a close race. A literal photo finish.

I have 1:56 without using the perpetual motion supersonic glider. If you are having trouble, try adding a lot of weight.
