@Velocita I'm not sure. I suspect the problem is with the cockpit or windows. The asymmetrical drag causes a very slight continuous rolling motion (auto-roll) but it isn't very severe, so don't worry about it
Asymmetrical drag is caused by multiple parts nudged inside one part. If you were on PC, I’d suggest disabling drag for minor details. Simple Planes just doesn’t calculate drag very well @Velocita
At least Star Wars doesn’t even try to be realistic so it’s ok if everything is completely implausible. When most shows try to use real science it’s just sad @ThePilotDude
Lucas films designed everything from an artist's view, not an engineer's view. So all fighters in Star Wars are a piece of (naughty word) but they looks marginally better than a piece of (naughty word). The giant cruisers can’t be argued against since they have such wacky technology and are ridiculously beyond our league.
@Zoomzoom999 A better solution is to use structural wings. If you need control surfaces, Overload can help you immensely. have a look at this for XML tips
I wouldn't say that the C-130 is their only good thing. I disagree with the application of their creations but Skunk Works has made some pretty insane stuff. They created the fastest manned jet aircraft, highest flying jet aircraft, P-38, multiple other record-setting UAVs.
I think the design is a brilliant piece of engineering but development was botched up pretty bad. I don’t agree with its purpose but I admire its performance and design
Well that’s neat. It would be a good feature actually if it said "please enter a description" instead of an error message. It could help cut down on spam/low effort posts
I got that issue a while back but it randomly started working again. I think I tried validating files, disabling mods and restarting the computer but the only thing that worked was waiting a week. It may not even be SP at fault; it could be anti-virus or windows having a tantrum
@atgxtg I'm working on designing a plane right now so I really wish I could import it into simpleplanes. I just don't think it will work easily but you can certainly try
You can easily get the right shape but it would be a useless lump unless you give it the right properties, animations, etc. it’s not as simple as it becoming a big fuselage block (as far as I know) @atgxtg
Some people have managed to do it with the mod api but it isn’t easy or practical. You end up with an object that does nothing unless you are a skilled programmer
But you do have uploads

That’s not a bug. Maybe it isn’t intentional but it's been like that for as long as I can remember.
+1For which server? There’s dozens of simpleplanes servers
+1No @Jim1the1Squid

Drag is slightly asymmetrical and it requires a bit of trim to fly. I can’t think of any easy ways to fix that on iOS, so you have my full approval
I like the use of grid fins as ascent stabilisers
No @Jim1the1Squid
How about using a plane that can land on the regular ol' USS Tiny. They’re both identical
Nah it’s fake. You can see the puppet string at the back
+1no

Yep, not their fault. It’s their provider who needs to get their act together
I thought it was in a different galaxy not a different universe? @ThePilotDude
Yes
The underside/inlet could be a bit smoother by having all parts flush with eachother but otherwise it’s quite good
If you’re on mac, you should be able to. But if you truly can’t use mods, grab these wings@Zoomzoom999

Seems to work well. I might use it on a divebomber with it angled downwards

Why not? It flies high and fast and has curvy bits. Seems to be your style @SledDriver
I thought so too but I couldn’t replicate it. I honestly don’t know at this point @ThePrototype
+1You should try out an XB-70 (or SD-70). I'd like to see your take on it @SledDriver
Doug
That happens to websites sometimes. Usually you just wait a few minutes and reload to fix it. Nothing special, your browser is just faulty
+1@Trijets It's good to see more people interested in RC
The simple fact that people are responding shows that SP isn’t dead
+3Well that’s neat. It would be a good feature actually if it said "please enter a description" instead of an error message. It could help cut down on spam/low effort posts
+4Wut be this
+1sigh...
+1I thought everyone had finally stopped these posts
Oh wait, you're on iOS. I'll shut up now
Oh, and check your internet upload is working

@atgxtg you bet I am. I probably always will be

+2The finest art I have ever seen
Tis' but a flesh wound @Pilotmario
Try using structural wings XML modded to allow control surfaces
+2I have no idea what you mean. I never said that @PPLLAANNEE
Use structural wings XML modded to allow control surfaces
+1I think you overdid it with the weaponry but it’s otherwise pretty good
+1*with
+1.

Sorry, I had to do that. What do you specifically need help with? I won’t do any building for you but I can give you tips
Wow this is good. This is the best panelling I have ever seen
