The Ilyushin Il-38 is nothing more than more a rip off of the P-3 Orion. You did a great job on your build. Though, the Russians did a great job copying the USA design for an ASW craft.
@GroBaleaze Ah finally connected 1725 EST March 15th
I am willing to pay for another server if it's not too much. Do you know what I should be looking for spec wise and does it have to be a WIN based server?
Maybe you know a recommended website that provides what we need to install SP MP and run it .
Would this be adequate?
Windows Server 2019 DataServer

If it wasn't for your previous modded maps and everything else you are talented in I would swear this was some footage from another game.
You even see the circular hole shadows from the windshield's sun barrier. Pure sickness.
Even the lights on the road. HOW ARE YOU DOING THIS SP MAGIC??? The shadow I'm talking about
@MassiveSimurgh Thanks. If I have "Smoothness" set to max it seems to be a great match. Sucks though because of the reflection. Reason why I am needing this is because, I am making a semi-submersible Narco boat/sub.
@thebanbehindtheslaughter That is my thoughts exactly. They don't ask much for a game that is thoroughly worth every penny. Unlike COD which spews out the same garbage over and over. Only changing the object skins and building a game map. They rest is all the same with them. Yet, they charge $60+ and resale value is crazy on top of it.
Around MAY we will reach 70% herd immunity and we can go back to normal. That is if everyone stops thinking the vaccine is somehow worse than the illness.
What a reversed world we live in. Thanks to conspiracy theory moms who helicopter over their children. We now have huge swaths of people who don't trust vaccines. Yet, we have been using them for centuries. Plus these new vaccines are not attenuated vaccines. They are synthetic versions of the mRNA that a virus uses to build its infectious proteins. Therefore you have no chance of actually getting the virus. They just give your body a picture of what the virus looks like. Then you body begins to create the antibodies that will protect you from the virus.
I myself am hoping to get the Moderna vaccine. While I respect Pfizer's medical accomplishments, I feel their need to have sub-freezing temperatures opens the door for human error in which, would make the vaccine vulnerable to being less effective. It requires minus 80 degrees C storage or else it will spoil. Makes me wonder how it works as it is injected into a 98F body.
The Moderna one can last in a normal freezer for a month.
So, you choose ;)
Why they ever thought a flying pancake was a good idea is beyond me. Paint it green and it's a road kill frog. :)
Matter of fact the all metal version was designated the XF5U Flying Flapjack ROFL
@KangaKangaTheRoo
Well, it's not 466 parts when you separate one and attach it for use. Total is 75. While still a high number. It would be smaller if you remove a few items or maybe I or someone streamline the parts. I wish they would add an alphabet and numbers to one of these updates. Seems simple as can be and barely take any time for them to add it.
Thank you for your input and upvote. I will work on a lower part number build. Try to get this down altimeter to around 25 parts or lower.
@Revan13152 Oh yeah! I forgot about that one. I didn't download it and try it out. I didn't feel like dealing with the game crashing. It's a ridiculous part count.
I have the newest 2020 iMac and it's has the best video card they offer but, it still won't cut it for that I am betting. I am thinking an Nvidia 2080 or the new 3080 in the 'Ti' version of course.
@KangaKangaTheRoo
Our last ones being used will be phased out in the next 2 years I believe.
We went from flying them non-stop to only a few hours per plane. The story was that some engineer back in the day made a miscalculation which, they caught somewhere around 2000. That killed our flight hours and that caused all these old birds to sit on the flight line most of the time and sent a bunch to the boneyard.
We went from having 12 aircraft per squadron to around 3 to 5 at the very most.
The other weird part was we used to never have enough maintainers. Then they took away all those aircraft and all of a sudden our shop grew. It made no sense. A Mechanic shop of 30 people in total jumped up to 60. Yet, we had 1/4 of the aircraft. People were pretty much either sitting on their butts all day or fighting for the available work. I spent a good amount of time writing up discrepancies so we had work to do. Those engines became SPOTLESS. Not a wrong washer on the beasts. lol
@AzureCorp Thank you!
I have taken flying lessons and flown a few single engine Cessna's.
Airplanes in real life are more forgiving on landings. Not so easy to bounce when you are within the correct parameters. Such as speed, flaps, and AOA. Though, when you bounce in real life, you better add power and pull up. You can and will crash and you don't get to RESTART :) lol
@KangaKangaTheRoo
I was sad to see the P-3 being replaced. Though, they did pick the perfect aircraft for it. The 737 is one safe aircraft. (Minus the 800 max)
@BlackThuNDR I do enjoy :) I actually got to get inside of one of these bad boys when lived in Arizona. I was driving by an airfield and saw it sitting there. So, I pulled over and asked the old guys working on it if they wouldn't mind or had the time to show me. They were very friendly and more than willing to let me crawl though it. I then offered to help do maintenance on it since I worked on P-3's which are a prop plane. Well, they were a tight nit crew so they weren't looking for anyone to join the ranks. (I get that and I wasn't interested in trying to pursue it any further) Plus, you have to have an A&P certification which I didn't have.
@Lisagorekdimitri334hartkor
I believe it is because of the Brochure like screen shots and description section. I am so sick of that nonsense. Sure it takes effort but, it's like everyone has to do it to obtain votes. To me it's like a MySpace page. Outdated and overdone. I am not bashing on this one builder. I am attacking ALL people who post that nonsense. I am sure this builder and many like he/she only did it to keep up with the competition.
I am not calling for a ban of it. I just think people should focus on the build.
Actually, there should be an Upvote linked to the craft once you load it. So, after you fly it, then you can vote. This way you don't have to go back to the website to do it or chance losing the page.
@scratch No problem on a lengthy read. I can write a novel. I like to be as clear as possible so there is not confusion. So, feel free to write a few chapters if you desire.
You are confusing me bit here... Your video showed
As for "sort of works", it applies to both FT formulas really. The one I shared doesn't operate smoothly and if you start flying around with it, you will find it stops working for whatever reason. I never debugged to see the issue. As for yours. Maybe this added formula you shared and what parts input to use it on will be the magic piece. Whenever I see some new FT formula I get excited to use it. These code snippets are like the black belt wizardry of SP. :)
Your formula is awesome because you not only made it yourself but, it functions.
Earlier, I was just clarifying to @An2k that it isn't a PID, because, he/she/IT asked. I am familiar with PID's. They are used in many applications. The ones I used were for chemical tanks used in the manufacturing of Intel processors and chip sets at FAB 22 and FAB 33 in Chandler, AZ.
@PointlessWhyshouldi
Pulling up too hard while in flight causes a choppy accent. Then rolls off to the side.
It's a weight and balance issue. The weight is set too far being the wing.
Though, I made some changes and it didn't go as well as I liked. I set it too nose heavy so there is slow response in the controls. I think I may work on it later today. If I finish, I will post an unlisted version and share with you.
It just looks so sporty I thought it would fly more sporty.
I absolutely love the design. The aircraft maneuverability is wonky so, it's not good for much more than a straight flight. I am not bashing the plane. I think it's amazing. I just wish you would have worked out the movement before sharing.
@Cabbage17 NP, Thanks for giving me a new XML edit. The cheat sheet WNP78 made doesn't have everything. If you have more to share or a cheat sheet I would love if you would share.
Absolutely amazing! Pure beauty. Honestly, sorry to hear about your Hyperhidrosis. I am sweat heavily and I am not obese. I have always sweat a lot. It is not the same as you but, I can slightly understand. Bless you and I certainly hope a doctor finds you a treatment that works and without sacrificing another part of your life to correct the issue.

+1I love this build. The looks are cool and it fly's like a champ.
+1@Kangy Sure I don't see why not
+1I don't use Discord. Can you do voice chat there?
@ReinMcDeer Nah, I this just went live around 1200 EST today Mar 16th.

+1I flew with you in MP a little bit. I have to say this Heli is a great build. Easy to fly, beautiful looks, very nice glass!
+1I was browsing builds and saw something familiar. I Saw you on MP yesterday (Saturday 16th) with this beast. Liked it a lot.
+1Flys like a champ! (I downloaded your fixed version, didn't test this post)

+1@Gestour You know when there is this much discussion after releasing a MOD you have hit a big winner.

You are confusing me bit here... Your video showed
Activate8 ? 0 : Roll3 - ((sin(Heading+90)rate(Longitude))+(cos(Heading+90)*rate(Latitude)))/5
I never saw this other formula you just shared.
Is the formula
((sum(VTOL*10) - AltitudeAgl) - rate(AltitudeAgl))
an input for the vtol engine?
As for "sort of works", it applies to both FT formulas really. The one I shared doesn't operate smoothly and if you start flying around with it, you will find it stops working for whatever reason. @An2k It's not PID. Look at his formula. If it was PID, it would look more like this:
PID(Throttle*5, AltitudeAgl, 1, 0.5, 0.5)
His formula was:
Activate8 ? 0 : Roll3 - ((sin(Heading+90)rate(Longitude))+(cos(Heading+90)*rate(Latitude)))/5
It sort of works but not in the manner I would like.
+1Man your avatar is still CREEPY AF to me every time I see it
