@Dracul0Anderson yeah, sp wasn't made to accommodate such large builds. But because of how you can resize builds using xml scaling—examples are aircraft carriers—people have started to experiment on it, not just aircraft carriers but also buildings. Either fictional or a replica
@KatBapa20 you're welcome, and I really like your builds, especially Yeu and Boldo. They're intriguing yet hella cool. It's rare to see these genre of crafts here in this site. I had fun flying alongside those two
@dekanii yep I agree. Though I've seen a technique one time, for V shaped noses. An example is on RD's F22. I did the exact thing and, as expected, it didn't looked good nor accurate. I only got mad afterwards lmao
@SuperSuperTheSylph yep, it is very confusing. Glad that I found this website that points out the differences between F-4C and E. Though it is mainly for plastic modeling, but it helped me for SimplePlanes regardless ¯\(ツ)/¯
@Monarchii @SuperSuperTheSylph
Though the Hueys don't fly that frequently. More like once or twice a month, they'll fly around here, and sometimes it's the Presidential Wing's Bell 418
I saw those Philippine FA-50s once when I was at Manila that time. And I'll tell you, That was the coolest thing I've seen. I haven't clicked a picture of them cuz I had a potato phone back then.
Now, here in my hometown, there's just Hueys flying above us. It feels like I'm in Vietnam here lmao
I forgot to add another thing: try dissecting and analyze the builds that have high upvotes and good part counts. In that way, you can trial and error on what technique suits you best.
@Unwanted nah not that much. I got it from building too many times. Then I found what technique suits me
If you're replicating a build, try to get it's dimensions as close as possible. So if the aircraft's length is 19 meters, make a "tube" first(0.25 width and 0.25 height) then create that length. Then you can resize the blueprint to fit the length of that "tube" you made.
There's a technique on fuselages: 2(the fuselage size) = 1 irl meter. So if your tube's length is 10, it's 5 irl meters

+1These are the types of builds that I really like. And thankfully, SP allows gigantic sized builds. Though the in-game designer says otherwise lmao
