the current ai dogfighting isn't that bad if you use planes that have a shred of realism. for example planes with better energy retention will actually try to go high and bnz you instead of just turnfighting
Properties which aren’t listed in the normal XML file but can be added manually or with Overload, like maxFuelTime or maxForwardThrustForce. You can see them all here. They weren’t added recently, I just found out about them pretty late. The engines still work, the properties just kind of make this a pointless upload, since you can just XML edit a missile to do whatever you want without needing to worry about what kind it is. @SnoWFLakE0s
Really great for a first upload. Flies very nicely.
A couple nitpicks:
Left pylon falls off the plane on start
There are 2 guns on left wing and 3 on right
Regardless it's still a fine plane. Keep up the good work
What I do in most of my builds is open up the XML file, and use Ctrl + H to replace all of "Wing-1" and "Wing-3" with "Wing-2". They won't bend, if that's what you're looking for.
point missed completely. it’s nothing to do with gameplay, there are obvious solutions (even though going to maywar is absolutely NOT one of them), it is about principle. fr*ck off @PhantomBladeCorp
Several of your points are grossly misconstrued and I am not going to bother refuting them. Just know that you are very wrong. You are blocked. Go troll someone else. @KingHandspider
@payzenia I don't, but I'll make something real quick as an example and link it here.
EDIT: Here it is. I heavily recommend getting the Overload mod, it makes this a LOT easier.
@ArcturusAerospace Make an account here and it should be pretty self-explanatory from there. Once you upload your image, input the link it gives you into what I put in the first comment. If the link says https, get rid of the s.
We are certainly talking about very different people. The ones I am talking about I have NEVER seen on the site unless they are some genius white rank user or they use multiplayer names drastically different from their SP one (which would not make much sense, they should be proud of “”””””””their””””””” planes, yes? and if they build so well I certainly should have heard of them) I have searched the website for said builds and several pages of the users section and unless the former is true, made pretty damn sure that part is accurate...
Bringing out a large plane that’s your own creation to show to people is one thing. Being an asshole with your buddies with massive aircraft carriers, submarines, and bombers is another. @Brields95
@Aeromen If there is, I'm unsure if whoever's keeping up the only server is active and willing to make such a change. "Part count" in all honesty is a blanket term that isn't very accurate because you can scale things up a ton in XML and they will cause a lot of FPS lag but still technically be low part count.
@BlueCitrus For some reason I completely missed the flying part. Only things I can think of would be making the wings smaller and making a small wing and scaling it up in XML.
@Freerider2142 My plane is this La-15
+1If you are on PC or Android you can download the Fine Tuner mod. That should be able to help you. Also heavily recommend getting Overload as well.

Personally prefer replicas, but you make great fictional planes too.
ahh i see you're a man of culture as well

+1It wasn’t me man you got the wrong guy @AerialFighterSnakes
ducc
+2@Zippy6 Noted. Explains a lot, really.
@DANCIN I have a lot of older planes within that part count range you might be interested in

Hmm, knew about -LandingGear but didn't know that you could put the - in front of any input.
+2lol that place is dead. there is like one guy that posts 50% of the stuff there
+1Looks nice, but why does a glider have fuel in the wings? Weighs it down heavily and makes it fly like a brick.
There seems to have been a small influx of returning players. With that being said welcome back.
uhh how do i xml mod on ios
/s
Randomly explodes in flight
Edit: Seems to only happen on low physics lettings. Works fine on high

@FLYGUY101 I'll upload one such wing as unlisted for you to download and save as a sub-assembly.
EDIT: here
What I do in most of my builds is open up the XML file, and use Ctrl + H to replace all of "Wing-1" and "Wing-3" with "Wing-2". They won't bend, if that's what you're looking for.
This may be of some interest
@PhantomBladeCorp not sure how you got to platinum without ever hearing of xml editing but ooooooooook then
@jamesPLANESii It seems like aircraft engines have the same issue. Ex. If the real plane uses a 2000hp prop, I need to bring it down to like 500-600
+1@FLYGUY101 You can use these as sub-assemblies. Check the I posted earlier for the missile XML properties and let me know what you want edited.
@FLYGUY101 No, but you can use missiles to power aircraft that should work the way you want. Only problem is that they're not throttleable.

+4No buoyancy was added to the plane in the video.
+2Very soon you'll be making another one!
+3@randomusername No, there is only one.
+1Really beautiful, and flies well too. You have certainly outdone yourself on this one.

@EternalDarkness And for good reason, I can’t blame you. Thank you for at least keeping the original post up, even though it may be controversial.
@payzenia I don't, but I'll make something real quick as an example and link it here.

You have to add it yourself. There are lots of hidden XML properties for various parts which you can see here
@SupremeDorian I considered saying something like that in the OP

@ArcturusAerospace You need to upload them to a site like imgur first
