@SkrillEclipse Thanks!! :D I went for a sort of 'night-life noire' scheme so it'd blend in. I think I might continue with the 'Avian Air Forces' theme, here. What do you think? They'll all have context eventually. If I do end up making more AAF craft, I think the next will be a Storm-Fighter. Long story short, it makes wind its pet.
The feelings of being obsolete I've had: War Thunder, SimplePlanes, Besiege, KSP, Gmod, Minecraft even. Bloody Minecraft. Why? I don't use mods. Heck man, you made it a heck of a lot farther than I could even dream :P I mean, dude. PLATINUM. How many points do you have??? Good God!!! I have been stuck at mid-range silver for months. Heck man, I'd say you've had a better run than a good 99% of us. Some of us don't even get started!! You want my opinion? Give up on publicity and start really innovating. Throw out the XML modding and make one heck of a craft with nothing but your bare hands. That's how I do it.
@Typhlosion130 Oh no, that's the feeling of having hope. Every time I try, I get knocked out instantly, totally crushing any small bit of hope I still posses.
@AndrewGarrison I'm sorry-- as it turns out, apparently I had mistaken feet for meters somehow when making my aircraft.... I really am sorry for wasting your time, I slipped. I'm not used to having to convert the measurements ._.
BUT just in case I AM on to something, here it is. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/M9600X/RP-38-Lightning-Trimotor
I uhh... We don't get all too many points to begin with-- and I put too much into my aircraft to release one every single day--- Sorry. I don't think it'd work that well.
If you can get a craft to perform well AND look good, you've hit a jackpot. Fun to fly, and it looks the part.
First tip-- go for prop. Start out with something simple. A little prop plane with two wings, two horizontal stabilizers and a vertical stabilizer. Play around with positions, shapes and sizes and see, with what engines, works best. Tweak it and play around with it.
More propellers on the engine makes it go faster. Set HP all the way up and give it warbird props and you'll be golden for something nimble.
Next, make your wings semi-symmetric. This adds maneuverability and creates enough lift to keep you in the air.
Try basing your first real fighter off of one in real life-- the fuselage shape, wing shape and so on. this will give you an easy start, and something to work from.
Also, a good tip I've found is raise your tail a little bit higher that your wings. There will be more airflow over and under both so the wings don't cut off the air to the tail.
Don't worry about jets yet. Those come later.
Sorry for the wall of text-- if you ever want a few more tips, I've got so many sticky-notes :D
How do you manage to get multiple craft in the air like that? I mean, I know there's air traffic, but like... Finding them and not letting my computer catch fire?
@General360 Neither can I XD I'm going to watch the stream recording and see how the aeronautics (melding between pilot and plane) work and adjust accordingly.
I doubt my R1 will make it, considering it's a prop class, BUT I do want to see the stream recording so I can really see how the AI flies the craft and modify accordingly so perhaps it can be the best prop class out there!
@General360 Thanks! :D This is my first EVER racing aircraft. I'm going to enter it in the next prop class. I sure hope it does well~ foreshadow foreshadow
@CanofBeans Of course, I also progress in everything a whole lot slower than everyone else. I mean, I don't really know why. I have the same start, same resources, same everything, but for some reason, even in school-- I'm just slower.
@CanofBeans I guess some of us are just lucky. I, on the other hand, am never lucky. Ever. I have not had good luck in anything-- ever. I kid you not XD
@SkrillEclipse I've tried all that :\ I'm still trying. I even had the Corporeal/Ethereal programs, and those were a huge hit- but they kinda' died out after the 5th or 6th mod. I'm still trying to find a better jet fuselage, but I can't seem to break through.
@SkrillEclipse I'm not unnoticed-- in fact, a few platinums follow me I think =3
I just don't feel like anything is really growing or getting anywhere.
@SkrillEclipse I mean, don't get me wrong I'm not whining or complaining about this-- I do just kinda' feel like I'm not really getting anywhere :\
And y'know. that makes me sad 3=
@SkrillEclipse I have ;__;
@Somberbask That wouldn't be bad :D It's be easier to add ensignea, as well as making it look, potentially, more professional, like decals.
@jsaret For people, like me, who couldn't hate XML modding any more then we already do XD
@jfriss Reasons.
@Yottabyte1024 ikr??? XD Bloody Brits makin' us stay up late.
@MoxIsLost Exactly.
@MechWARRIOR57 11:30pm Maountain time. Find a thing that will translate the time to Pacific.
@MechWARRIOR57 Mountain Time. I'm sure you could translate it with google, tho :D

A rather negative way to look at it. What about new innovations?
I think that'd be neat. Seeing how much your aircraft would cost irl, that'd tie right well in to RP's and games.
This thread = yet another thing I will never be able to do XD
@Typhlosion130 Oh no, that's the feeling of having hope. Every time I try, I get knocked out instantly, totally crushing any small bit of hope I still posses.
@jfriss Ehh it's a very long story.
I got to model Q with my 'X-7 Corporeal' .... I mean-- that's nearly the whole alphabet.
6:00am - 7:00am~ That wonderful golden orange light, the deep shadows~ I love it.
You uhhh... You DO realize-- the X-7 is a recon/fighter, right? Multirole. Anywho, sweet paint job.
@AndrewGarrison I'm sorry-- as it turns out, apparently I had mistaken feet for meters somehow when making my aircraft.... I really am sorry for wasting your time, I slipped. I'm not used to having to convert the measurements ._.

And, once again-- I crashed. COME ON, COMPUTER. FLY IT RIGHT!!!!!!!!
Aye, Ethereal D here, thanks :3
@CaliphIndustries Your loudness scares me .-.
@Tully2001 @FearlessFabEngineering @TemDesBur @MechWARRIOR57
I'll take that as a yes.
@PINK I'm sayin' it's easier to start with prop aircraft .Really get the feel for simpler mechanics.
I uhh... We don't get all too many points to begin with-- and I put too much into my aircraft to release one every single day--- Sorry. I don't think it'd work that well.
10/10 - needs more dolphin.

@Upquark Look better, but perform not as better :P Thanks tho :3
@IStoleYourMeme OOOoooohhhhh-- I forgot that was a thing XD Thanks :D
@General360 Thanks! :D

OKAY. LET ME RE-CAP, for those of you who can't read. I WILL NOT USE MODS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
@CarlosDanger13 Uhhh.... The last one? I didn't know there was a last one after the wheels. I'm on PC.
@CanofBeans Well yeah what do you think I've been doin'?
@Brields95 I knooooww- But it makes me feel dirty ._.
@CanofBeans Of course, I also progress in everything a whole lot slower than everyone else. I mean, I don't really know why. I have the same start, same resources, same everything, but for some reason, even in school-- I'm just slower.
@MrMecha YAY thank you :D

@Brields95 So they're legit? I hate using mods. Makes me feel like I'm not making due with what I'm given first hand.
@PINK Yo :D
@birdsofsteel Your profile pic is amazing XD
@SkrillEclipse Nah you're fine. I do it too XD
@BaconEggs Sorry-- but I did say I'm not using mods :\
@BaconEggs >.> What do you think I've been doing? It's literally the point of this site.
@SkrillEclipse I've tried all that :\ I'm still trying. I even had the Corporeal/Ethereal programs, and those were a huge hit- but they kinda' died out after the 5th or 6th mod. I'm still trying to find a better jet fuselage, but I can't seem to break through.
@SkrillEclipse OUT WITH IT, MAN!! hops onto your head as an otter hat
