@johc if you wanted this to be a teaser, you can post few screenshots in a forum post instead. Nobody downloads your plane and you can still show off your build.
@Graingy you gotta remember the time period it was made in. It broke apart because of weak material. Yes it's too complicated, yes it's not very practical. But the fact that they pulled it off is impressive and shouldn't be downplayed. It will be much easier to make an ornithopter today than before considering how much technology has advanced. But somebody must be willing to spend good money.
@Graingy normally, wings create lift when angled and facing an air flow. Here, the movement and angling of the wing creats lift which now gets converted to forward movement. That's how birds fly in real life (i think. Not an aerospace engineer). Also fun fact. There was a working prototype made and it was french. But unfortunately it tore itself apart during a wind tunnel testing because of weak structural integrity. After that, they abandoned the concept because of complexity, lack of strong materials and it just wasn't practical despite all the advantages it had.
@Graingy you basically get them to flap like a bird. That creates propulsion. It's kinda hard to explain. For more info, search ornithopter. I have made a few myself, although not very good.
Some questions are reasonable and i can see how they are related to the game. But why do they want your location?. At that point, just find another server.
I was going to make a TU-160 but it may be too much for me. So i will make a TU-22M instead.
+1You can google it's loadout configuration. Or go to warthunder forum. You are guaranteed to find some documents.
I don't know, drink water maybe?
Ever heard of Guerrilla warfare. Befriend the jungles and caves, sneak to hide your name tag. Your cousin won't stand a chance.

@johc then why post it? Looks good though.
I have yet to use control base for control surfaces.
You already paid for it. You know, tax money.
+1@Graingy but you are rough, irritating and gets in everywhere.
@Graingy uhhh, my bad. And yes, increased load on the wings (the moving parts to be specific) was a major problem it faced.
+1@Graingy you can try to bite me

@Graingy >:)
@Graingy it held up well, until they increased the speed. And all of this was after ww2 or around that period if I remember correctly.
+1Now that you brought it up, I am going to slap a guardian on my plane and call it a sidewinder

@Graingy even better.

+1@Graingy Here comes the sun
@Graingy somehow it actually works.
+1@WinsWings thanks
@ShinyGemsBro ohhh. my mistake then.
+1@ShinyGemsBro the beast fleet doesn't have flack. Atleast i have never seen it.
I did it with my SMC-130. The JATOL really came in handy.
Probably because of collision.
Cake?
@Graingy gotta deal with you somehow. (And i am in no way associated with that thing. )

. I have made a few myself, although not very good.If you want the afterburner gone, set the afterburner scale to
+10,0,0
.@Graingy true, what about flapping wings? Though it's harder and more complex to pull off.
+2@Graingy so Thermonuclear bomb it is.
@MTFUE11 T ?
@someonewithapetnamedpablo maywar? Like I said, some maps still work and maywar is one of them.
@AManMayDieButNotHisIdeas just post something as unlisted.
+1You know, you can test things on an unlisted page unbothered.
@Graingy inside of a volcano should be hot enough. What's your melting point anyway? I have no devious intentions.
Java wither : gets stuck in a cave and dies
+1bedrock wither :
@Graingy that's it. I am moving back to the volcano. Can't get close without melting yourself >:3
@Graingy not me
Just make a propeller out of rotator and wings. You won't need a drop of fuel and can fly for ever.
+1It's soo smooth. I really like it.
+1@Graingy :(
+1There is a possibility that you didn't pass.
@Paraguayxd700 i don't understand.
@Graingy that's the first thing that came to mind too 😂
@Graingy uhhh. So you really were going to call kindness.
@Graingy whaa.... Never mind. Forgot you were clinically insane.
+11000+ parts is NOT considered mobile friendly.
@Graingy thank you for your kindness
