@FarrowTECH thanks! Its mostly made to be functional with low part count. I didnt spend too much time on the looks, but felt like a drift car deserved an over the top RX7 type look with a huuuge splitter. I kinda liked the alternative building style too!
@gt33 you're right about that. But lately ive had the time to put in like 3 hours a day and im really loving this project, so the updates will keep coming the next few days!
@gt33 the R version is pretty much done, and the follow up, the GTR, is also close. After that though i'll come with a clubsport version with some radical changes to the aero package. Im not even close to finishing it but it's gonna be my best car ever!
@gt33 glad you like it! Did the whole uploading in steps thing to show how i did it on android for you! And positive comments like this make me wanna do it even better so thanks for the motivation :)
Great stuff! Makes the rear really controlable! This'd work for either more controlled drifting or grip in low/middle speed corners i assume. Are you gonna do an update for this car?
@Rocketguy2079 @DEN12345 @GrFrog
Hey guys. Next to wanting to show you my new build I had a question I hope one of you could help me with since you know how to build a good car.
I wanted to give my next car rear wheel steering from like V>75. Does anyone know how to make that a condition to activate steering? Like pressing Act1 but automatically activating at a certain speed instead of activating in manually?
Thanks for thinking with me!
@Rocketguy2079
Hey! Wow, you've gone like Verstappen at Spa with your points mate! Congrats!
Im currently having a real busy period irl. I usually play sp when i have the time and can finish a build in a single go (which still usually takes a few days). Might have some more time soon though.
Also right before my break a i did a replica of an Oreca chassis LMP2 Le Mans car which is pretty much ready to upload. Its one of my biggest builds though so i want it to be perfect!
Wiki:
The Oreca 07 is a Le Mans Prototype built by French manufacturer Oreca to meet the 2017 FIA and ACO LMP2 regulations. It made its official race debut in the opening round of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and its FIA World Endurance Championship debut at the 2017 6 Hours of Silverstone. The car is the successor to the Oreca 05.
Again great looking car! Also nice use of wings on it!
My tips: because of the high front drag combined the large, double hinged springs, especially on the rear, you get a shocky and unpredictable understeer. Vertical stabilezers help, shorter, stiffer springs at a higher angle work better.
Also less forward grip and slightly more sideways grip on the front tires can hel with this too.
The rear wing generates as much drag as downforce. A much smaller angle would me more effective. 10 is plenty, 15 is high but can be useful, more than 20 is overkill!
Giving the front wing a bigger angle than the rear wing increases stability and prevents understeer. The balance between center lift and center of gravity would be pretty good if the wings were set at front 8, rear 5. Something like that would perfectly balance the car
@Rocketguy2079 I'm back!!

+1@gt33
+1@Rocketguy2079 Just how you like it haha
+1@JustDragon haha chuck norris plane
Try using pitch instead of throttle! Drifting is playing around with the gas paddle a lot which makes it pretty much impossible
@MAPA if you take suggestions, a TBM 850 would be really cool!
+1@KitsuneassemblylinesKAL tag me if you do an update!
@JustDragon TBM 850 if you take suggestions :)
Love that you did one of these! A special plane for me!
+1Looks awesome with such a low part count! Really nice job!
+1Nice! Maybe put some springs on the wheel bars to prevent them from flipping? (Or easier put a max angle on the rotator)
@Rocketguy2079 thanks! Coming update, is gonna be even wider haha
+1Nice!
@DEN12345 @gt33 @Rocketguy2079 @iloveworld4723 thought you might like to see the new update! Its starting to get really good now!
+2@Rocketguy2079 to prevent rolling so it handles better. Also relatively shorter wheelbase so it steers sharper!
@gt33 sure! Would like to see that!
+1@gt33 the next step is here :)

+1@gt33 you were asking how i did builds on mobile, well, check it out!
+1Amazing! Love creative projects like this!
This is a construct I use to test wheels, but also MONSTER TRCUK!!1
@DEN12345 too bad. Thanks anyway for reacting!
+1@gt33 lots of work, and having fun making it! Never played on pc so this is how i learned the game i guess
+1@Rocketguy2079 I know there are possible V= V> or V< commands but just dont know where to put them. We might both learn something then!

Cool livery!
@Rocketguy2079 oh and fun detail. Im gonna make it in modern McLaren livery as fictional Mclaren Le Mans WEC entry!
