@KingDeadshot That isn't a bug actually. When the game goes to the background, the operating system may kill the game to free up resources...we can't prevent it from happening. We could completely save the state of the game and restore it when going to/from the background, but that would take a decent amount of work, and there other features higher on the list at the moment.
@JMicah4, @KingDeadshot Correct. We'd support modding on iOS if we could but SimplePlanes supports "total conversion mod" style modding...aka, modders can change anything/everything, and Apple just doesn't allow that.
@BaconAndEggs96 Thanks for all the suggestions. As far as multiplayer. I'm afraid it isn't likely unless we make a sequel. I worked on it for a decent amount of time but the destructibility of the aircraft is going to take a lot of work to make it translate satisfactorily for multiplayer...and destructibility would be a big part of multiplayer. It just wasn't at all in the gameplan early on, and the base code will need to be restructured for it to be feasible.
@UnknownVectors You can have multiple if you don't rate your own AND don't rate a single other aircraft from more than one of your accounts (i.e. don't make several accounts to artificially boost/lower the score of other aircraft).
@BaconAndEggs96 You can create your own terrain/mods if you have the PC version. Thanks for all the other suggestions, we're working on a lot of stuff right now I hope you'll enjoy :)
@UltimatePilot We allow multiple accounts (currently, and within reason) only if they are not used for subterfuge in ratings manipulation. i.e. Never vote on any of your other accounts aircraft, and never vote on any single aircraft from more than one of your accounts.
@TheSoundofLight Can you explain what is going on a bit more on Kamcord? It seems like people are mostly just role-playing about "wars?" Is it just annoying mostly, or are people being mean and harassing?
This is one of the most amazing aircraft I've flown...and it is beautiful! AND, it has served as a test case for a Unity 5 part collision issue we've been working on :)
Guys, you don't need permission to make changes to planes. That is one of the big reasons we made the website after all. We have the predecessor system, which gives the original creator points as well when someone rates a plane based on yours, so if someone "copies" one of your planes, you should be happy...you'll get more points!
@Griffith We've talked about that a lot, and I put some serious effort into it way back in alpha. Making anything close to realistic helicopter parts is pretty darn difficult and time consuming. It is always near the top of the list of things we want to add, but it is not currently in the pipeline of things we're working on.
@PlanesOfOld I understand that it can feel deflating to read negative comments on something personal to you and which you spent a lot of time and effort on. I hope you reconsider your position on not posting planes b/c you make amazing designs, and we love seeing them! We (devs) may not comment/rate on a lot of designs we see b/c don't want to influence the ratings too much, but we talk about the cool designs we see all the time.
This is awesome. I love the cockpit view. And, the engine cowling is done beautifully!
I can tell a lot of work went into this. It flies well and looks great.
Holy crap! This is insane! Wow...I can't even come up with an appropriate superlative to describe this. How in the world did you make this on a mobile?!?!
Sweet. I'm from St. Louis :) I've seen replicas of this aircraft in "real life", but never the real thing though. Your recreation flies really well. With all of the super fast aircraft, it is nice to have one that handles so well at low speeds, and flies around at a slower pace.
I saw a video of it on Kamcord (https://www.kamcord.com/v/B3qhj0ySURi)
This really is great. Very unique, and flies well in VTOL, which is saying a lot given how complicated of a design it is. Bravo!
@Kevpilot There is a bug. It has been fixed and will be in the next update. It is just for a particular aircraft, right?

Absolutely unbelievable!

@PuhBuhGuh I'm not sure I'd say there are plans, but it is something we've been discussing how we'd do it if we were to implement 'em.
Awesome!
That is one aggressive P-51 mod! :)
@BaconAndEggs96 Thanks for the suggestions!
@PuhBuhGuh We're working on new prop engines :)

@UltimatePilot That is a good suggestion! We've actually got that on our list of things to investigate.
@Kevpilot That would be cool!
@TheSoundofLight Can you give some links to the Kamcord profiles/videos? I'm the tallest dev at 6'2".
Beautiful!
Great idea!

@CaptianWaffle Awesome, thanks for the comment. I'm glad you're having fun with the game!
Awesome! The mechanism to get the minute hand working is a SP engineering marvel! :)
Takes off from both land and sea very well (usually one of the first things I test). Very nice :) Handles nicely after liftoff as well.
Very cool.
This is beyond insanely awesome. I am at a loss for words... How!?!?
Flies well. Good job:)
This this is ridiculous...I love it!

Awesome plane, man!
Fastest boat I've ever tried for sure!
Very cool man. I love the transforming capability obviously, but the plane itself flies very well also.
Haha, I love this thing. The drone dropper looks hilarious with it's boxy shape. It all works very well though, good job :)

Lol, this is awesome, and hilarious...never seen anything like it: favorite (so I can investigate) :)
@Electra10 He didn't hack you. You can view anyone else's comments/ratings by clicking on their name.
Absolutely amazing!

Holy cow, this is incredible...even works on land.
Very creative...going into cockpit view may result in throwing up!
Wow, this is really awesome.
This is awesome...very creative and fun to mess around with.
Holy crap! This is insane! Wow...I can't even come up with an appropriate superlative to describe this. How in the world did you make this on a mobile?!?!
Nice!
Well done. A bit tricky to land/take off from the water, but it flies really nicely.

I was not expecting the slide to actually...slide. Very nice.

Very unique design. I like it.
